TOD:

BAMBI
THE 3 LIVES OF THOMASINA
A TIGER WALKS
THE UGLY DACHSHUND
CHARLIE, THE LONESOME COUGAR
FINDING NEMO

I would likely have more on my list except that most Disney films I have not seen since I was a child, and don't know how I would like them now. I really need to take some time and view them all again.

BK, I found you notes regarding the movie posters to be very interesting.

I began collection movie memorabilia (stills, lobby cards, posters) when I was in high school in the late 70s. Back then I was able to buy a lobby card in perfect condition for ATTACK OF THE 50 FT WOMAN for just $3.00. Of course I should have bought the entire set, but who knew that title would become so hugely expensive and desirable!

I have sold off a lot of my collection in the last few years, but still have some worthy things tucked away which I might part with soon. I have thought of going to one of those auction houses as well, as they really do seem to get a good price. I won't get rich off of what I would be selling, but it would help in my downsizing and they would go to people who appreciate such things.

Most of what I will part with are lobby card sets and posters. My collection of June Kenney and Allison Hayes stills we be kept until the day I die, however. But I do need to write down in a will what should happen to them when that day comes.

Actually, should I go first, my Allison Hayes collection should and probably would go to DR JRand. I know he would love them as much as I have (although he likely has most of the same ones).

Thank you for the wishes for Richard.  He seems fine, just ready for the breakfast he didn't have time for before his appointment.

Congrats to JRand on the windfall, and best wishes for a refu'ah sh'leima (that's "full recovery" for the Hebrew-impaired) to DH Richard.

Last night we watched my favorite Scrooge, Albert Finney.  It has been awhile and I find it funny that I completely forgot this is a musical.  I only remembered his performance.

TOD

Mary Poppins is #1 right now, there's just no way around it.

Fantasia and the other musical anthologies
Song of the South
Saludos Amigos / Three Caballeros
Parent Trap
Swiss Family Robinson
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Cinderella
Sleeping Beauty
That Darn Cat
Absent-Minded Professor and Son of Flubber

And more.  So much more.  It's almost impossible even to name favorites in each category.  But today, these are the titles that come to mind.

Thursday - it is 2 degrees here today.  The feel like temperature is -4 degrees.

So, I guess this would be a bad time to mention that it is 65 degrees at 10:30 a.m..

I am very happy for DR JRand63!That's fantastic luck!

I need more than $500 to keep Toyland afloat.  Now, if I could win the current Mega Millions $400 million, I could do wonders with the money!

Saw "The Book of Mormon" last night. Clever show, nice social references and theatre references. Great sets and score - actually, the score. with the exception of a few songs, is quite forgettable, but it works in the show. I understand the hype by the non-theatre person and the hype by the normal theatre-person, while it's different for each. I'm seeing it again in January, I suppose I have a month or so to let it sink in before then.
