It is, of course, time to take out all of the holiday music and movies and shows, but I have a crazy few days coming up, so much of that will be better served waiting till various and sundry dust settles.

TOD:

Nothing really new.  I have been expecting a half dozen DVDs I ordered during the Warner Archive sale, but UPS keeps sending me delay notices due to the weather.

I love Sheldon Harnick!

And who in their right mind doesn't? But it's great to say it every once in a while.

Our snow is scheduled for all day tomorrow, morning to night.  Estimate is four to eight inches, and I'm hoping for the minimums.

LI'L ABNER has, of course, always been one of my favorite musicals to include a song in Cb major.

More sad, scary Christmas photos. Some are so horrible that the one below seems tame:

You're planning on bringing in Carol Channing as Daisy Mae, aren't you?
LOL  I'm sure Ms. Channing is thinking that she could do the part.

She might be pretty funny as Mammy!

It's been a surprisingly busy day today. Guess that end-of-year lull ain't happening this year.

The melody looks a little off, though. ::)

DR George - I don't think the parody is intended to duplicate the melody.       :)

Well, I know that.  :-*  I did notice that some of the lyrics in the recording were different than what's on the music.  Just a couple of lines.  It really is pretty cool!

Thank you DR Vixmom.  We only had a little rain and I was able to make my appointment.  I also got my glasses fixed though they seem wrong again.  I think the silcone guards are bigger than the last ones, at least it feels that way.  I now have to get used to my glasses resting on my face different  ::)

I also picked up my beautiful birthday flowers from Craig.

After I was done with my doctor's appointment I had to wait another 40 minutes for Keith to pick me up since he was at the gym.  It was frustrating not to go for a walk but it isn't work risking a fall on the ice.  Driving through town it was amazing how many places weren't shoveled or they were shoveling today.
