LOL, Jane you're pretty close.  It really did seem like a very long journey.

I shall shortly be on my way to the theater, after a long telephonic conversation - I think everyone has now heard me and it looks like we can proceed apace in terms of the recording.

That's great! :D

Oy!  Yikes!     :o

I'm not sure I'd go that far myself, but I do think any old doctor or nurse could remove them just fine.

Good evening, all!

Just a quick drive by to wish you all a wonderful evening. I'm up to my ears in catch up now that my car is running again.

Cheers!  :D

I'm spending most of it at home working on finishing the upstairs den and hanging the rest of the shades and whatever else I feel like doing. I'll spend Christmas eve with the family and be back home on Christmas day.  It worked well at Thanksgiving it should work well for Christmas too

Goodreads says:

Congrats! You have completed your goal of reading 150 books for the 2013 Reading Challenge!

150 of 150 (100%)

Wow. I will complete my goal. But not until at least next week.

I guess the only Judi Dench film I have ever seen is CASINO ROYALE.

I am not looking forward to the weather here this weekend. 10-15 cms of snow tomorrow, another 10cm on Saturday. And then either an ice storm or another 10-15cm on Sunday (most likely ice). Ugh. Is winter over yet?

Is anybody else here watching The X Factor?  I'm watching the finale now. I really want Simon's team to win.

That will be a lot of snow by the time it is done falling.

Bryan's goody package from Zimmerman's arrived yesterday.  His neighbor found it near the trash today and dropped it off.  Thank goodness the neighbor saw it.

My mom is a retired LPN (licensed practical nurse).  She's fearless...she'd probably even take out staples herself.

DR elmore I'm talking to Bryan who said take them out yourself. ;D

Ouch!

In related matters, Richard caught his finger in the industrial strength tape dispenser that I inherited from my Dad and keep on the package wrapping table.  There's quite a gash that I thought should have been looked at right away.  At least I've convinced him to see the doctor tomorrow about a tetanus shot.

Yikes!! :o Yes, it's probably a good thing to get a tetanus shot after something like that.

DR Jane, Richard remembers that he'd had a tetanus shot less than a year before he all but cut off the end of his thumb with an ax when he was a Scout leader.  We think that was about 10 years ago, so he's probably due.

Thanks for your lyric comment last night, John G.

I had to go back to yesterday's posts to find the lyrics in question.  Very good, Fred!
