I also settled my claim today for my accident.   It's not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, but it fixes the cash flow problem since the accident and makes it totally ok for Edith and I to close the office for a week.  :)

Congratulations!

Great news.
thanks.  It's a relief.

I was just watching ABC news. The reporter quoted the president as saying "When it comes to athletic performance we don't make a distinction based on sexual performance"   I think he meant preference, LOL

LOL  I hope the reporter misquoted the President and not the other way.

I'm assuming the reporter made the mistake

I'm glad you posted this. I thought the President had said it. :)

Are you sure he didn't??

No

They said, "Sexual orientation" on the West Coast.

Well that makes sense too. I said preference because I thought that would be the easy mistake for performance

I found three gifts tonight after loading up on Vietnamese noodles. It did me good to walk a bit.

Got all of the noodle bowl story written that I could. That means I can go to bed at least.

Good night, all.

Back from Annie, the best part of which was seeing Michelle Nicastro's sister and husband in attendance.

Well, tomorrow's going to be a day.  Last week, I worked concessions for a local production of "The Nutcracker" that's playing in town.  Tomorrow, I have to work concessions for the other local production of "The Nutcracker" that's playing in town.  I'll bring my Kindle again. ;)

After that, I'm going to a friend's house for their annual Yule Fest.  They've been having them for years and I've said a few times over the years that I would go, but something has always come up and I've never gone.  Tomorrow, I actually got out of working concessions for the second performance of the other local production of "The Nutcracker" so that I could FINALLY go to my friend's Yule Fest!

I'll certainly know a lot of people, so that'll be fun.  I'm sure that it'll last well into the night.

And now, I must go to bed.  It's going to be a long day and I want to be more rested than usual.

;)

Good night, all.
