Well, you've read the notes, the notes were festively festive, and now it is time for you to post until the festively festive cows come home.

I think the Do we're going to today will be smaller, only because it's in a smaller space.  I think maximum 10 people are expected.

We just opened one present last night, to have it for desert.  So the presents are sitting here looking nice.

I happen to know some of them are very small (though considerate) things even though the wrapping is grand, but it's the thought that counts.  And much thought went into the wrapping.

It was a fun Do.  We had a great time and would have stayed longer, but the shuttle to LB airport is coming early this morning.

Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed in Austin tonight.

I seem to recall this quote from TV, but can't find what it's from:  "It's the thought that counts, and if that's all you thought of me, then I don't know what to think."

it sounds like something from a sitcom, but can't find it on google.

Really enjoying the photos and catching up on the chat from after we went to sleep last night.

Is there really a St. Olaf festival?

Smooth traveling to Druxy!

I keep getting drawn back to random parts of your book when I think about family interactions, Druxy.  The book really resonates.

Morning, all!

Wow, what a lovely party! How wonderful to see Terri White's face... I remember her from years gone by at Rose's Turn, and I know she's made it through some pretty rough times since then.

TOD: Nothing much done last night, since we needed to help our older two boys catch up on missed homework.

I watched The Doris Day Show on COZI Tv last night.....they had the Christmas episodes from Seasons 2 and 3.....when Doris was migrating between the farm and her work in San Francisco at Today's World Magazine....

Both episodes closed with Doris alone talking directly to the audience....wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a new year filled with peace, joy, and much love....  It was very nice.

Good morning, all.

Must be quick, then go E&T for a while.

The Do sounds incredible, and the pictures and video are wonderful.  Will be back later to enjoy them more.

Safe travels to DR Druxy.  Merry Christmas to all!

I slept late, and I'm on my first cup of coffee. I also slept poorly, with one of those obsessive dreams that gets inside your head and plays over and over. I have no idea what it now was about but I was quite happy to get out of bed.

I'm staying in today, doing little but cleaning up the apartment and my Encores! work.

BK, the photos and videos were fun, and the Do sounds fantastic.  I love Terri. I haven't seen her and Donna since FINIAN'S RAINBOW closed.

More coffee! I hope everyone's having a great day.

I can barely keep my eyes open. The party last night went until 2 a.m. and then a half-hour drive home. I have a feeling I'll be really festive mid-afternoon.

Just walked 4 miles on the treadmill in anticipation of our lovely Christmas feast later today. Now, I'm all cleaned up and will help in the preparation.

Happy Christmas everyone!!!

I so enjoyed reading about the "Do" - the preparations and then the party itself. Loved the photos and especially those wonderful videos. What a treat it would have been to be there! I think I spied DR ryacko singing in one of the videos.
