I've had chicken, cheese, and cranberry sauce for dinner. I have no vegetables in the house. It hit the spot.

Wae-Ling came over to help cook. She prepped the roast and the fingerling potatoes while I fixed the green beans and creamed onions. She ate two pieces of the present we received from my sister: a strawberry swirl cheesecake from Junior's.

It's like a death: you think the grieving is over and then something - the slightest thing - can open the wound and leave you bleeding on the pavement.

This mystery gift just gets better and better. I've been checking out the carton, wondering who I can beg to set this up for me - DR Rodzinski set up my last non-regional player - and this Blu-Ray is non-regional!

O Frabjous day! Calloo! Callay!

This would be a good excuse to contact the E&T DR Rodzinski.

That's great news - and the first region B disc you should buy is The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.

I own one Blu-Ray DVD and I will watch that first: THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL!

Nice gift DR ELMORE!

The wedding was...interesting.

There was a fire truck and an ambulance at the house across the street....and a police car, I think.  The girlfriend was taken away in the ambulance and the wife and the kids left in the car.....

Dear Hainies and Kimlets

In the new year I will be remolding and I have decided to downsize my collection of CDS and DVDs. I am offering everyone here first crack at them.

They are $1 per CD. I do not have the jewel cases, but have the tray inserts, booklets and of course the cds. Shipping cost will depend on how many one buys.

If you would like the list please private message me and I will send you it to you.
They are musicals, vocalist, broadway, soundtracks, comedy, concerts.
You'll see they are divided into lots, that is just for me to locate them easier.

There is a wide range. It's a first come first serve

We just opened one present last night, to have it for desert.  So the presents are sitting here looking nice.

I happen to know some of them are very small (though considerate) things even though the wrapping is grand, but it's the thought that counts.  And much thought went into the wrapping.

:)

Wrapping is my favorite part.  I like to re-wrap the pretty boxes and leave them out to enjoy.

Very quiet in our house this morning - recuperating from the church marathon last evening. A beautiful light snow is falling outside. We live in a lovely neighborhood of restored Victorian homes, so the dog walk is a visual feast, as many folk decorate with tasteful lights on the exterior and lighted trees in bay windows.

Will there be photos of your beautiful Victorian neighborhood?

Well, the friendship that fell apart in 2011 is definitely over. I'm a bit saddened by it, but I stopped weeping over it along time ago. I guess I always hoped the other parties would care enough to at least attempt to mend things. All of my efforts to communicate were ignored. It hurts.

Life goes on.

I am so sorry, DR elmore.

DRs TCB and Jane, Life. Goes. On. I can't let my unhappiness turn ugly. There's a young lady I love enormously in the mix and I can't let her be the fallout victim.

And I'm sure she loves you just as much.

So, i opened my packages, and I have one that truly puzzles me, since there was no invoice or gift card telling me my presenter: who the fat hell sent me a Blu-Ray DVD player?

That's the Big Question!

Wow, what a fantastic gift.  Is there info on where is what shipped from to call and ask?

The mystery has been solved and the Blu-Ray giver is truly dear.  I appreciate the kindness enormously, especially today, following the end of a nuclear family I thought would be around till i died.

Never mind my last post.  I am glad the mystery is solved :)

I've read a divorce is like a death and this really is what you have gone through.  If it had been mutual it would have been painful enough.
