Since I had a holiday gift card, I decided to use it to buy a Roku 3.  Now I have my very own, brand new Roku 3 sitting next to be desk.  I have not the slightest idea what to do with it.

I hear they make good paper weights.

Did you purchase an HDMI cable? You need it to connect the box to your HD Flat Screen television (Roku 3 boxes only work with HD televisions). And if you don't have wifi in your apartment you need an ethernet cable to plug the box into your modem. If you do have wifi you don't need the ethernet, you just need to know the name of your wifi network and the password. Once it's connected to your television, you just follow the prompts and you're done in a matter of minutes. You can watch Netflix and other paid streaming movie services or you can find the hundreds of free channels/networks with games, movies, television shows and other ephemera.

That does it!!  First the male hookers on 42nd Street, and now the horse-drawn carriages in Central Park.

What is happening to The City??

i know not of waht you speak;  please elucidate

The new mayor of New York wants to do away with all of the horse drawn carriages in
Central Park.

Oh - I had not heard that   I know various groups have been campaigning for this for sometime

My people!

I have watched DESK SET, and am amazed, delighted, and charmed.  Where has this movie been all my life?  I love it!  Seriously.

And the color?  Beautiful!  And so beyond criticism it isn't even funny.

And now, I must be off.  Olympia Family Theater is having the first read-through for "A House on Pooh Corner," for which I will be running the sound board, as I have done for other OFT shows.  I'm sure that it'll be quite delightful.

Be back later!

There is indeed snow. I can't see how much. Tomorrow, I may limp out and take a short stroll.  Now I'm off to bed.

I just saw a helpful hint - to keep your pizza warm on the way home, set it on the passenger seat and turn on the seat warmer.  It would have to stay warm a long time to drive it to TCB
