Catching up continued

On December 29th:
BK mentioned he saw a 4K 65inch TV. Who makes it? How much is it? Is it a Plasma or LED and how does it compare to these kinds of TV? What would one watch on a 4K?

Some school systems in the DC area have already announced they'll be closed tomorrow due to the predicted frigid temperatures.

The young man on the left died in the fire yesterday. I didn't know either of them, but he was a friend of David Zelnik, who wrote YANK!, and who worked with me in the 1990sat the Drama Book Shop/

So sad.

We got a one-week extension on the book. Major relief. And the work I've gotten done today, even at work, is surprising, while Bonnie has been able to forge ahead, too.

As that Sondheim chap once wrote:

I've played with the schedule, shuffled people and musical numbers around, and i think all bases recovered. I need the producer to confirm we have the studio so I can send out offers and relax.

Joshie's Cancun vacation has gone to hell. He's stuck there, since Jet Blue has closed down Newark, JFK, and Boston airports.  I'm supposed to meet him on wednesday and turn over the rest of LITTLE ME, and I hope he gets back by then.

That's my news. I have to wash some dishes and chill out. It's a MAJOR CRIMES night.  I also have to look for my book. I set it down when I got in last night and now I cannot find it.

All the ornaments are off the tree and packed away and the mantle is undecked and I've quit fot tonight.  Tomorrow we'll take the tree apart and I'll undeck the rest of the house.  Might as well do something productive while weather-bound.

Had a turkey sandwich and a small onion rings, picked up a couple of packages, and had rehearsals.  I suppose I shall now write, but I'm finding much confusion with the organizing of benefit things and I have really begun getting strong about it.

Happy Monday, all.

I am enjoying my first day off since this crazy marathon began, and savoring every lazy moment of it, with the exception of studying.

Congrats to BK and the young cast, as well as Adyan, Kaye and company for last night's triumph!!

I found a very funny parody of Downton Abbey on Funny or Die today that Michelle Dockery did with Michael Chiklis. You'll find it here: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/2621d24714/tough-justice-with-michelle-dockery

Enjoy your evenings, all!   :)

Just made a pot of chili. New recipe. I like the heat level, but the rest is good without being exciting. I have to judge a chili cook-off Saturday, so I hope theirs are better.

TOD:

One menu because there are so many possibilities:

An array of antipasti with grilled vegetables, cheeses, farro salad, white bean salad and anything with anchovies
Pumpkin- or butternut squash-filled ravioli with brown sage butter
Porchetta
Panna cotta

I'm sure I could think of more.
