And the word of the day is: QUONDAM!

And The Song Of The Day Is:  THE WAY WE WERE

Good choice!

Love Jeepers Creepers, especially Rebecca Luker's song, "The Faithful Heart!"

And speaking of TVs...Samsung shows off its 85-inch curved TV that bends with the touch of a button!

Wow!  They don't, however, mention price.

I guess that will be useful when watching Bend It Like Beckham.

Fred, do you enjoy novels? Have you read Rosamunde Pilcher's WINTER SOLSTICE? It's a beautiful story. I think you'd enjoy it.

I think DR Kate would like it, too. DR Jane's probably read it, as well as DR Ginny. I can't say about DR Jennifer.

DR Jeanne, I've read several of Rosamunde Pilcher's books, but not that one.  I'll put it on my list.

We went to the Library and I picked up the following:

BEFORE MIDNIGHT, (I Couldn't get the first 2)
THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES
BECOMING JANE

Have any DR"S seen these, and if so can you recommend them?

Also If anyone has seen BEFORE MIDNIGHT do you think It's important to see the first two first?

I don't think it's important. But it is a richer experience to see all three.

Crazy little day.  I futzed and fixed a few things before having to eat - I had a patty melt and nothing else.  Then I'd completely forgotten I was supposed to guest on a radio show, but luckily they called and I was literally two minutes away and got there just in time.

After that, I came right home and did some writing.  I was trying to figure out whether I wanted something to be the end of a chapter of or the beginning, and I opted for the latter.  I then added over a page to the chapter I was ending, then moved on to chapter five, but didn't really get anywhere because of a) having to respond to two silly e-mails about separate things, both of which I must say I responded to strongly because I am severely bored of this kind of nonsense and want people to understand it.  In both cases, any further e-mails will be deleted without having been read and I informed both parties of it and said to one of them what I've been saying for months: Want to say something, pick up the phone, because these people's e-mails just come off as simple-minded and attitude-laden, whether they mean it or not.

I then had to have a telephonic conversation with the revue's associate producer - looks like I'm going to try and replace two cast members once the show moves to the larger space - totally fine with it as long as we find excellent replacements.  It's just amazing to me these days that committing to a show, no matter what kind of show, is meaningless to actors.  I'm glad I'm out of that world, frankly.  When I committed to a production, no matter what KIND of production, they had my full on commitment.

Then I wrote about two more pages, so three in total so far, then I tried to watch a movie, but am not in the mood, so I'll try to write the other three or four pages I want to right now.

Hopefully, you'll be able to find excellent replacements, BK.  I've only been involved with two shows that had replacements.  One was sick so it was for only one performance (not the same situation) but the other new that she would be gone the last weekend so they had good excuses.  Good luck!

I'm leaving work.  My friend Margo called and we're going to meet for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant.  I haven't been there in a few months, so I'm looking forward to it.

Be back later.

Rosamunde Pilcher's WINTER SOLSTICE

Just read the description on Amaxon - I'll definitely be giving this a whirl. Thanks for the recommendation, DR Jeanne!
