is there a cut-off temp when you don't take the dog out?

Nope - he goes out, no matter the weather. However, if the wind chill is more than 30 below zero, the walks are kept to no more than 5-10 minutes.

I'm seriously thinking of reissuing Jeepers Creepers with a completely new cover - think there's be interest?

Why a different cover?

Why?  I thought it was amateurish then and I think it's amateurish now.

Stephen Ward has arrived.

As has James Franco's Interior. Leather Bar, which is not available in the US, at all...well, not yet. ;)

That really sounds like a fascinating film.  I am not familiar with it.

Hello, everyone.

I've been dealing with a back flare-up the past week, so everything else has ben lower priority.

Back vibes for DR Jeanne.

Two or three inches of rain for most of us with winds 40 to 50 miles per hour.

Not exactly a hurricane or a typhoon here on the West Coast, but I love to be curled up in bed with a good book while a storm batters the hatches.

Now they are saying winds 30 to 35, with gusts up to 40 or 50.

That isn't quite as exciting, but this is the first real storm of the year.

My friend Sharry and I met for lunch today.  It was a belated birthday lunch since her birthday is two days after Christmas.

Sometimes her birthday lunch gets bumped into March or April.

I gave her a copy of HOLLYWOOD BABYLON (the original), and also the trashy new version of the same book.

In the new version, the entire first version of the book concerns the size of movie star's extremities.  And I am not talking ring sizes.

Sharry also gave me several gifts.  The highlight is THE DEAD CELEBRITIES COOK BOOK.

Taking different ones to a party should be a good conversation starter.
