The food truck is called Dixieland BBQ and their slogan is:

"We like pig butts and we cannot lie."

TCB, I'm glad to see I haven't driven you off. Yet.

The chili at the cook-off I judged was largely average. Only one was truly awful. Some sort of concoction with brown sugar and vinegar in it. What that has to do with chili, I'll never know.

But too many of the others tasted like tomato-bean soup and not chili.

DR Cillaliz -  when are you putting in this installation?       ;)

Not any time soon.  I still get nervous when Ricky jumps on the ledge over the stairway.

I agree with you, Cillaliz. It's rather nerve-racking to look at.

Had a small breakfast (in the next booth, Tom Wopat), did some banking and then had three people rehearsing - our female trio that's doing Fugue for Tinhorns, the beautiful Jean Louisa Kelly - we got along so well I think she'll do episode one of season three's Outside the Box - and then Bruce Vilanch and Barry Pearl who will stop the show cold.

MBarnum is very jealous of the Tom Wopat sighting, I'm sure.

He is no doubt suffering a case of the vapors!

No, they are live on the west coast.  I just said that because BK said he was going to bed early, so I guess that doesn't stop us from having a party in BK's living room, with or without BK.

The Seahawks beat the New Orleans Saints today; so they are one win away from the Super Bowl.

Well another actor dropped out.
Luckily I have someone else to replace him.
And that was another story

Gee,  you should have asked Tom to do an OUTSIDE THE BOX episode.

How do you know he didn't?

Sorry to leave you TCB.  We got new music for band and I've really been in the mood to practice.  So that's what I was doing.  Time flies when I'm practicing

Some people spend their money going on a vacation in the winter.....I paid to have a tree cut down and the garage door opener fixed.  I really know how to have a good time :)

I've got flute choir rehearsal in the afternoon. With travel time that means the whole afternoon.   I was going to quit flute choir because it was just too much to learn all the music last fall.  Then I remembered I couldn't play for about 3 weeks due to the last car accident.  So, I'm going to just keep going for a while. We don't perform that often and I do enjoy the group.  PLus, where else will I be able to play my alto flute

They also won't get me to the church on time, but since I'm not planning to go tomorrow, that's ok....well I'll be practicing with the flute choir at a church in the afternoon....does that count?
