Back from a good show with an okay audience - they really liked it a lot but were not vocal about it, although at some point they did get a little more energy.

I don;t know that I would be able to make it I have a "retreat" at church during the day on the 8th and then I have a ticket to see Frank Langella as King Lear at BAM on that evening - I would love to go to a HHW matinee on the 9th but I think that might be stretching the finances and time a bit thin

I snagged a coupon for a local parking garage 1 block from the theatre $22 for 12 hours (more about that later)

Vixdad bought me on stage tickets to the shows---first up was Richard III i was sitting stage right - the actors dress and do their makeup on stage before the show and the musicians are playing period instruments and the clothing is historically accurate no zips, buttons or velcro... they were getting laced in to everything

Then I wandered back to the theatre and sat stage left for Twelfth Night

My sides still hurt from laughing , the tears were streaming down my face - if you can only see one of these show see Twelfth Night

wandered back to the parking garage where there was an enormous line -- but I passed the time pleasantly discussing shows with the ladies in line ahead of me

when it was my time at the payment booth the man scanned my coupon and the parking ticket and it came up $47 - I guess I had a shocked look on my face and then I suddenly realized - I went over the 12 hours by about 5 minutes ... because of the long line...

I didn't even get a chance to say anything because the man behind the glass said "Wait, wait, you waited so patiently I can something special for you - they he punched in some code and viola ...$12!!

I said are you sure? He said absolutely! Have a good night and so I did!

I bought it from Amazon.com for the library where I work. Our selector wanted, and I bought, six copies. We got them and the went out circulating but then they all were sent back to the Service Center because none of them would work! It turns out that I unknowingly chose the PAL, Region 2 DVD. I am usually pretty good about making sure that I order US DVDs, but this time I goobered.

No. They had our barcodes, spine labels and property stamps put all over them. We really can't even put them in our book sales. It's one of those mistakes that just happen. Fortunately, with our $3million+ budget, it's not really a big deal, but still I should've been paying more attention. I had never made that mistake before...nor have I since.
