Great bit, Larry. Logic rarely interferes with my dreams.

Oscar Hammerstein was also in the dream, but I knew he was dead. Rodgers seemed happy to have the recording.

You were meeting them and I was up reading that book about the writing of Oklahoma! R&H in the air?

If you stew cranberries like applesauce they taste more like prunes than rhubarb does.

Well I came home on Sunday evening because the snow was as MUCH as they said it might be.

Yesterday we had a Noon call for a 1 p.m. start full dress rehearsal.....but technical problems delayed us until 2 p.m.  We got a lot of technical problems solved so we finished about 6 p.m.

Thanks for all the vibes over the last couple of days.  Tonight is our Preview audience....then we have dress rehearsals on Tuesday and Wednesday - then we are off Thurs-Sat and we open on Sunday with three additional performances Mon-Wed.  Quite a strange schedule....but the DePauw Winter Term is short this year, and we competing with Rush Week and other variables.

The show actually looks pretty good considering we first stepped foot onstage one week ago today.

Here are a few production photos from the show.....that do not include me.

Achilles, Hector, Iphegynia   I like it best when a representation of the head of the Trojan Horse flies above the stage up right....I hope I can get a picture of it...in the next couple of days.

Instant theatre!

Yesterday the Tim the director was mentioning how appreciative he was that everyone was working 100% on the project, and that he didn't plan on having a preview just SEVEN days after we started, but that thanks to everyone, we have a play.....and I agree.  It is quite interesting.

Afterwards he asked for questions, wherein Hecuba (who still doesn't know her lines and blocking and can't be heard past the front row) raised her hand and announced she would miss Tuesday's rehearsal because she has a dance concert.....

I know Tim's head was about the explode, and everything got VEWY VEWY QUITE....he just said..."Really?  ....you really do?  Hmmmmmmmmm......"   I was glad he started rehearsal and we got out of that discussion.

Garage Door vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.

Same here.  They're a guilty pleasure.  (I specialize in guilty pleasures.)

She may not be Queen of Troy no mo!  I'd replace her.

I was just at www.bing.com looking at their pictures of the day.  It's cool that you can go back and see the last week's pictures.  Anyway, I was thinking to myself that I need to get to bed so that I can get to work in the morning and it suddenly hit me only as I was looking at today's picture that I don't have to go to work in the morning!  I totally forgot that it's a three-day weekend! :D

This morning I realized I won't be hearing from the library with a solution to my problem with loading my books before they expire.

Monday morning greetings!  Sorry, I forgot to log out last night...

I'm off for lunch today with Becky - our last until she gets back from California and I get back from Georgia next month.  We were going to have gel manicures but chickened out after some internet research.  The Dr. Oz videos are particularly convincing  :P

Good idea.  I also checked those out and decided it wasn't worth the risk.

Are doctors' offices open today despite the holiday?

I'm expecting a call back from a doctor's office today.

Saw all these postings on the other website about comments made by Richard Sherman and I'm wondering what any of this has to do with Mary Poppins or Saving Mr. Banks.

I guess I need to keep up with football even nominally more than I do.
