I will say that I saw Dolly Parton in concert a few years ago and she was fabulous.  It was a great time

I like Hellman's the BEST, but it has a tendency to fall off the knife....so when I am tired of cleaning the counter, I use Miracle Whip.....which sounds very Biblical.

Just like the ad. "Bring out the Hellman's and bring out the Best"

Her voice is wonderful, especially in her early recordings.

In bookstores today:

Oh Wow, I've read all his books and loved the Tales of the City series.   Thanks for posting this, I wasn't aware of it

The librarian was very nice but couldn't help me.  She took my email address in case she finds something.  The guy at support was out again today so maybe I will have an answer tomorrow.

Will you lose the books if they cannot help you? Or will they keep you at the front of the queue?  Stupid that there is nobody that can answer your questions.

I did ask and she thought the tech guy can reissue the books.  I hope I can connect with him tomorrow and all will be well.

That's good.

Hopefully :)

DR Ron Pulliam - I didn't say I hated Georges Delerue or his scores; I just said I didn't connect with that one score. I rather love his score to King of Hearts a whole lot, as DR elmore3003 pointed out.

I thought this parody video was funny: the boy band One Direction, without autotune:

I got locked out last evening.  Fearing that it was my WIFI, I turned off the computer and went to bed.  Now I see that we were down for a little while at about the same time.  Hopefully that was the reason.

When I first began to read this for some reason I thought you meant your apartment.  I'm glad it was only the site.

If my WIFI is locking me out of my apartment then I am going to start looking around for Rod Serling.

I suppose it is selfish to want snow, now that I am retired and don't have to worry about driving in it.

I suppose that would be understandable, considering that it coming on to one in the morning out there in snow country.

Had a lot of fun doing day one of the musical theater workshop - just gabbing and getting to know the students.  We had about twenty-four in attendance.  Hopefully we'll have a few more for the rest of the week - the problem is, school hasn't even started back yet - not until Feb 10 so some people never got the e-mail.  I have to meet and see about ten to fifteen more people - and if they can't get in for this I'll come back after school's back and do one additional day of singing.  I'll talk more about it in the notes, but there is one boy who's six-five and if he's got the voice could certainly be an Abner.

I then picked up a couple of packages, a Subway Club and then came home.  I'd written a little over a page before leaving, so I picked up where I left off and wrote three more pages, then ate my sandwich, then wrote almost half the commentary for the Kritzerland show.  This has more songs than usual but I'll get it done by tomorrow and have it out of the way.  Then I wrote another page, for a total of five.  Not sure if I'm liking it or if it needs a bit more oomph and color - it's pretty good as it is, but I think some more detail might pep it up just fine.  I'm going to shower now then hopefully I'll get some inspiration and write another two pages at least.
