I had a nice morning with my hiking group which included a stop for a visit and hot chocolate.  I then did errands and am now doing laundry.

I received an email from the library suggesting I remove the book and download it again.  The woman asked me about that last night and my response is still the same, my only option I can see is to return/delete.  Once again I wait for a response-groan!

Evidently, no one on HHW has Whatsapp on their phone. It must be for the young, only...which means I may never figure it out.

My phone isn't smart enough for apps.

I have a friend who talks to her daughter in Sweden and showed it to me when Keith got his Samsung Galaxy Note 3.  He opted not to get it.  It seemed fairly easy.  I don't have a smartphone or I would download the app to talk to you.   I think anyone with a smartphone can get the app to talk to you.

to DR Elan!

How did you get Nicky to hold that cupcake???

He hates pink frosting, so he didn't mind just holding it; especially since he was wearing his disguise cat costume.

It certainly didn't take long for American television to remake that French TV series about the people returning from the dead.  RESURRECTION STARTS on ABC in a couple of weeks.  The theme song, "I'm Coming Home."

And the check has arrived. The post was here by 3:00! Whoda thunk it, as my mother used to say.

It sounds like you've done a successful float. At least i hope so.

My rash wasn't clearing up so I phoned the doctor's office yesterday on the off-chance my doc would have an opening today. Surprise! She did and I grabbed it. She knew what it was instantly, which I didn't expect, but it was exactly what I didn't want to hear: shingles. My rash doesn't look like any of the rashes I viewed on the Internet; in fact, it has multiple personalities--a cluster of small bumps in the front and big, hive-like things on my back.

Thankfully, it is not a severe case. They're uncomfortable, but do not itch. She wants me to keep them bandaged, REST, and I'm not supposed to be out in public if I can help it. I have several things to take, as well. I stopped on the way home and purchased the necessary gauze, tape, and other supplies.

I'd rescheduled a hair appointment in order to see the doctor today. I called my hairdresser and asked if he'd had chickenpox. Fortunately, he had them when he was a kid. If he hadn't, I would have been putting him at risk and I didn't want to do that. So I'll see him tomorrow and make a quick stop for groceries afterwards.
