Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a trial and on fire, and now it is time for you to post until the fiery cows come home.

And people remember who were there in the early 80's what it was like. Some of my cast members were just kids and didn't experience it

The after party is in a tent outside. I hope they will have heaters as it is going to be in the 50's.

Good morning, all! i had this long convoluted dream: I was trying to find a subway back to the Upper West Side, because I was way over on the East Side just below 34th Street. O started walking, and then I was outside Oxford, OH, on the country, heading toward the town.  Somewhere along the way I befriended a rather horse-faced soprano and her brother and this led to a discussion of dueling divas in Oxford and a reclusive soprano living in Oxford.  She had given up singing when her husband and children were killed in an accident involving a car and a horse and buggy, and then my dream went into that while saga. It was an epic.

Around 9:30, I will head fan to City Center to help Joshie and his interns.  We'll see how much work will be involved to get this thing ready for the sitzprobe a week from tomorrow. This weekend, I have to begin my taxes. My appointment with my accountant is in two weeks.

TOD:
DVD:  a couple of Netflix items, the NASHVILLE Criterion blu-ray release
CD:  Dearest Enemy, Roberta, Little Me B'way and London casts, Dorothy Provine, Guy Haines
VCR: nada

Good morning, all.

It's 25 degrees here with a slick layer of ice covering the back patio. But surprisingly the outdoor cat was warm. It's supposed to start to snow within the next hour and snow for three hours or so. Interesting. I hope my olive tree survives.

DR TCB - the DD Zach doesn't particularly like the boots, but he puts up with them. Sometimes he even keeps all 4 on for the entire duration of the walk.

Got an automated call at 3:30 this morning that work would be delayed until 11 a.m. but I couldn't really go back to sleep after that. And I can work the rest of the day from home, my supervisor emailed me.

Saw a wonderful vocal/instrumental program last evening at the Minnesota History Center on Prohibition. Very well staged and entertaining. They did a great job weaving the music with narration and projections of photos and actual historical documents.
