If I have to choose ONE favorite it would be BEING ALIVE.....but I would also have to say the entire score of COMPANY.

Thursday morning greetings!  Things got even weirder last night when Richard began feeling unwell and crashed early.  We both slept in this morning and he seems ready to resume his conference activities, which are here in the hotel until lunch at the nearby church.  I'll probably join them then.

Philoktetes est mort....

The play has ended....so I am happy and sad all at the same time.  It was a quick 16 days of rehearsal performance, but it was a lot of fun.

Many of the students are moving on to other productions.  They also are covered up with homework which they were doing during their times offstage.  I hope to see some of them in April when DePauw does A COMEDY OF ERRORS.

It was a great experience and I am grateful that Tim, the director, asked me to be part of the show!

And now ON TO Guys & Dolls!

I watched about half of BLUE JASMINE last night.  Cate Blanchett is giving a wonderful performance.  I'm not sure where the story is going, but I like the movie a lot.

No kidding, DR JRand!  Apparently the state of emergency will be lifted at noon.

Glad the play was such a good experience for you, JRand, and that your drives were not too hazardous.

TOD:

Although I have seen some film versions of the TOD's musicals, I cannot think of any favorite songs at the moment.

Mike, you know a great deal about Oscar nominated songs. Has one ever been kicked off the nominations list before this year?
