Well, you've read the notes, you know what kick I'm currently on, therefore it is time for you to post until the Ding Dong cows come home or, at the very least, until the Ding Dong Wicked Witch is dead. ::) ;D :D

Oops (spoo, spelled backwards) - should have checked our calendar - we've got two count them two big birthdays to celebrate!  The notes have been updated to reflect that very thing.

I like to eat schmaltz herring with Jerry Lewis. ...Wait! I'm getting the two topics mixed together.

I'm eating a cheese slice and a ham chunk right this very minute, and I look adorable in my point party hat and my colored tights and my brand new Gap pantaloons which I purchased yesterday.

Will somebody please come and take the clothes off my bed? Or maybe I'll just sleep on the floor.

As for interesting food combinations...

I remember when peanut butter on celery was "interesting and exotic".  Possible candidates:

-Peanuts (salted) stirred into yogurt.

-Cottage cheese stirred into chili.

-Potato Chips crushed over ice cream - usually vanilla or chocolate.

-Cheese Popcorn and Caramel Corn mixed together - I think they call this "Chicago Mix".

-Smokehouse Almond Bark - Smokehouse brand seasoned almonds with White Chocolate.

Hmmm... All these sweet and salty combinations.

When I was in high school, I used to put goop (a.k.a. tartar sauce) on the school pizza.  This was only done when I had pizza for lunch in high school...not at home and most definitely NOT at a restaurant!  Also, a couple of years ago I had some plain fat-free yogurt and I stirred some Adams Old Fashioned peanut butter into it.  The first thing that I discovered was that the peanut butter mixed right in and didn't clump or coagulate.  I was pleasantly surprised.  The second thing that I discovered was that it was quite good!  I highly recommend peanut butter yogurt.  I have no idea if it'll work with pb that isn't all natural...in other words, not just peanuts and salt, which is what Adams is.  It's the only brand of peanut butter that I buy any more.

I also added some Splenda to the peanut butter yogurt because the fat-free yogurt was plain and didn't have any sugar (or sweenener) to begin with.  Either way, it was good, but a little sweeter was better.

Favourite comedy team: Martin & Lewis in "Three Ring Circus", "Artists and Models" and "Scared Stiff". Well I loved them when I was a kid.

Thanks for the birthday wishes so far.

AND HAPPY co-birthday to my birthday twin DRJOSE (who is much younger and prettier!).  ;D

I have changed my screen name to reflect the passing of the year AND my avatar as well....   :P

Well DR's it has not been a good year for me, although things are considerably better right now and look better for the future.  BUT for some reason I have NOT been able to learn my lines for THE NERD.  Some plays are just like that.  I audiitioned for one part (one I had played before) and instead got the lead.  I told the director I didn't know if I could do it....she said I could.  So here we are....there are also two HIGH SCHOOL girls in the cast, playing older women, and 25 year old man playing an eight year old boy, and a man who NEVER remembers a line as written playing a major part.  I BEGGED her at the read thru to reconsider the people cast in these parts.   Last night we did ACT ONE without our books, and it was a disaster.  NOT just the usual disaster, but agony.  And it is scheduled again tonight.  The director has done some pretty poor blocking (we have NEVER really worked on a blocking set piece and we all ended up in a group at the edge of the stage tonight) and has ALL the furniture in a straight line facing out (thrust stage, you know).

During notes she said (as if we didn't know):  You have to work on your lines, people.  (As If).  I am not the only one struggling, the other actor in a leading role is at sea, as well.  And neither of us has had this problem before.  So finally I took the bullet and asked that we do a sit down and line thru tonight.  I told her I get up at 5 a.m. and work at the bookstore until 5 p.m. and that then I could work on lines - but I didn't think there would be much improvement.  She yelled at us and said fine - we'll do a cue to cue...but she is mad.  >:(  We don't need "mad" we need help - it ain't gonna happen.  ::)

So I doubt I will be at HHW much today....but I will check in when I can.  And THANKS in advance for the good wishes & V I B E S.

It is an actor's nightmare.  :'(

Here's to two of our favorite posters!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR READERS JOSE AND JRAND!!!

I don't eat it anymore, but when I was a teenager I used to put fresh grapes in the freezer and when they were sufficiently cold and hard I would pour melted chocolate over them. MMM, MMM, MMM. Don't know if I would feel the same way now.

To answer Noel's question it is the cover of the yet to be published collection of songwriters Meltz and Ernest's best songs. Some of the lyrics are already up on brucekimmel.com. You can go to http://www.brucekimmel.com/Meltz%20and%20Ernest%20Songbook%20Main%20Page.htm to see the page.
