Saw Titanic about halfway through its run. I think they had worked on the show since it opened, much in the same way they worked on Nine. Love the scores to both.

I like a lot of the TITANIC score.....but I have only seen one really BAD production, so I can't say whether or not I like the show....

Greetings from Amtrak Train 125. I was on Train 95, which was supposed to leave at 10:35 am. However, it's delayed till 1:10 pm. Luckily Amtrak is honoring tickets on this train.

I also loved Little Me. Some of the people on those message boards were critical of the leads but I thought Rachel York and Christian Bale were great! And Judy Kaye just makes me laugh whenever she opens her mouth.

Not to mention the fantastic orchestra!

And my last show of the weekend was a little know production called, Chicago, the Musical. Hey, I haven't seen it for over a year! I've probably seen it about 15 times over the years.

I'm not too sure about Bebe Neuwirth. I guess I've been used to sassy women like Carol Woods in the role of Mama Morton. Bebe's singing is not what it used to be. I'll leave it at that! I wasn't too impressed with Bianca Marroquin (sp?) in the role of Roxie Hart, but Amra-Faye Wright was very good as Velma. And Billy Flynn was great, not surprisingly!

Well my computer has been overheating and shutting down, so I bought a new one.....it should be here in a couple of days.... I bought an HP with a TouchScreen.....it has more processor speed and a 1 TB hard drive....

So I will have to reinstall all of my programs....and all that happy stuff....so it should be an interesting week.

I finally got my DWTS song edited correctly.....had to take about a minute out of the recording, and that's not always easy to do.....with my limited ability and tools.

Some of the foolish comments about Borle really pissed me off: he had a week - one week - of rehearsal, not 4-6 weeks to polish a performance. If he were that good after a week of rehearsal and tech, think how amazing he'd be in a full-scale revival. I thought he was really funny.

And I am home from physical therapy. On th bus home, I sat across from a Caribbean nanny who was feeding this little tiny boy a bagel. The kid was adorable and she was so wonderful with him. I wanted to run over and paste a gold star on her forehead.

I like moments of the score. Don Stephenson was in the original production, and he's directed the show for the St Louis Muny and possibly other places.

It's City Center and Encores that invites the critics to the first paid performance (Wednesday) after the dress rehearsal, rather than letting them come on Thursday or Friday, isn't it?

And it's City Center and Encores that chooses to allow Talkin Broadway to let its users post views of the dress rehearsal, which the TB administrators don't allow for any Broadway show.

I do wish for the sake of the performers, that when people post their unofficial "reviews" they would say how early they saw the Encores show, though.

We evaluate performances after a week of rehearsals at all of these one-week only events, and they are charging close to Broadway prices. Isn't it $105 all the way up to the mid-mezzanine?
