Good morning!  While some parts of the area got up to 18 inches of snow I think there's only about 5 or 6 inches where I live (haven't been out yet).

TOD:

I love all flavors of pudding, but do not recall my first pudding.

When I was a kid (7th grade) and really into the making of 8mm monster movies with my school buddies, I wrote out a script for a film titled ATTACK OF THE PUDDING PEOPLE which was to be a combination of live action and stop-motion animation. Alas, it remained unfilmed.

So young! And you already had an artistic vision that no one cared about.

I just had a treacherous adventure on my stepladder changing two light bulbs in my kitchen. Those 10-foot ceilings are no fun. Life was so much easier before I became a gimp.

I do have to make a trek to the corner bodega at some point today.

First, make the bed.

TOD: I can't remember the first pudding I ever ate. I'm sure Mom made it and I'm sure it was wonderful.

On the barbecue trail last fall, it as a must to taste many variations of banana pudding. The best were the ones that used vanilla pudding with banana and Nilla Wafers (which actually have no vanilla in them). The flavor of artificial banana in the banana pudding was a dead giveaway about corners that a kitchen was cutting. It generally showed in the meats, too.

The best banana pudding was from a place in town, upscale barbecue. They make their own vanilla wafers and their pudding is so creamy that it's like silk. Takes forever to make, which I now because they agreed to share the recipe for our book. And the restaurant only serves it on Saturdays.  But it's sooooo good.

Thursday morning greetings!  This week's storm has spared us, but the south and the eastern seaboard have my full sympathies.

I'm kind of watching the men's short programs on my iPad while posting here and doing other internet work on my computer.  Soon, I'll have to get myself ready for my eye exam where I'll pick out new glasses for the first time in 4 years.

That is a shame - I'd love to see this.     :)

I've been fixating on Michael Valenti's two shows, "Lovesong" and "Blood Red Roses," since last night. I've got a song from each running constantly through my mind.

And they are great songs!

That reminds me of an old joke:  how many curmudgeons does it take to change a light bulb?         :)

Sure did.  The word-of-mouth on that show was fantastic, it's one of the best scores of the 1980s, and it died on Broadway in one night.  I couldn't wait to see it and it closed.  There were also great word-of-mouth and reviews for Colombeand it couldn't get support to move it.

Michael's been a friend for a long time and I'm a huge supporter of his music.

Theatres should be looking at his wonderful revue, Lovesong.

It's not pudding, but there was one summer, growing up, where I made Knox Blocks just about every day.  My mother said that my insides were going to turn into jelly!

Popping in early, because, as it turns out, we have a mid-week two show day today, on the day of the newest, big snowstorm.
What, it couldn't wait til I leave Monday??   :-X

So nice to know Josh Grizetti is in the new Kritzerland show. I got to work with him a little in the backer's audition of Honeymoon in Vegas.

Okay, I'm on, I'm off, and off to the theater....

Into the Snoods, into the Snoods and home before dark..."
