It may hit 40 here today, which would be the warmest it has been since Thanksgiving.

DR Elmore, since they're so fond of your arrangements I'm sure the Cincinnati chorus will now want to meet you in person!

Nice photo DR ELMORE.....

Once when I was almost late for school, and before I got my glasses in the 8th grade.....I brushed my teeth with Brylcreem......it was NOT pleasant.

Yes, it is supposed to be 44 degrees today here....and in the 40's/50's for the rest of the week.  I say bring it on!

Sorry to read about DR MATTHEW's car break in.....I would guess an IPOD in view was too tempting to someone who needed some money.  Don't they have a geographical find feature of some kind?

Who's paying for it? I have no money these days, as everyone on HHW is well aware from my pissing and moaning. Also, I'm not particularly enamored of seeing either of my siblings since they're the major hurdle of selling that Ohio property, and I may only be back when I sue them. I'm seriously thinking about it. Maybe I can give the Macbeths a stroke!

DR Jennifer:  Regarding your question of several days ago, "Yes! Even Evgeny Plushenko should not have been skating in the Olympics."  He did not EARN a spot.  And to make it all worse, he withdrew after the team competition and Russia had ZERO skaters in the men's figure skating competition.  Russians were plenty mad about that, too.

The Zsa Zsa Charo Performing Artistes Repertory Theatre and Traveling Brylcream Present:

Crural The Word of the Day or, Cross Words

Zsa Zsa [having a bad hair day]: Dahlink, can you lend me your comb?  My hair was just vashed and nothink can be done vit it.
Charo [glaring at Zsa Zsa]: I won't give it to you.  I don't want your cu-chee cu-chee cooties or dandruff anyway.
Zsa Zsa [bewildered, hair and otherwise]:  You are very crural!

Regarding combs and hair gel: I never liked carrying a comb.  The only time I would was on Photo Day when I was in elementary and high school.  A friend of mine who used a pick, frequently dropped it on the ground, which was gross to me.  I never used Vitalis or gel.  My neighbor in the 70s and 80s, who himself was in his 70s or 80s (a WW II vet Seabee) told me that when there was nothing to make adult beverages with on ship, Vitalis was what they drank.  So, that was the end of that.  However, when I did have bad hair days and I had more hair I would wet my hair with tap tap tap water only.  I was follicularly challenged prior to chemo, but now my hair has grown back and looks better than before for some strange reason.

Those 70s and 80s photos are scarier than my class photo! I would still prefer to be caught dead in those fashions than thug clothing; I could never be happy with trousers that depended on the cantilevers of my ass to hold them up.

Hmmm, I'm wondering what he would have to say about this topic?  As much as I was a fan of Donald Pleasence, I think Telly Savalas was one of the best Bond villains:

From DR Vixmom:
Quote
oh that makes me crazy! or he takes it with him but doesn't turn it on-  my Mom does that as well

the Vixter is tired of hearing  me yell, "It's the blasted communication age!  Why can't I ever get anyone to answer the phone!?!"

;D
;D

Now that Keith has his new smart phone he carries it with him far more than he used to, thank goodness.    I also like to call him in stores when I lose him, or he ditches me ;)  Usually he has left the phone in the car.

Took this blurry shot with my phone on this morning's dog walk. This must be why my neighborhood is known as Cathedral Hill:
