I'm back from last night's "The House at Pooh Corner" and cast party. Last night's performance went off without hitch...actingly or technically. We had a fairly large audience and they were fairly vocally appreciative of the show.

I just realized last night (Friday night) that our audiences for last night and Thursday had more adults than children. Adults came to see the show without children, at all. I can only guess that they either really love Pooh, or they're friends of the actors. It doesn't matter...they're coming to the show.

After the show, we went to Eeyore and Owl's house (they're married...husbands to each other

) and had a cast party. Nothing outrageous, just food, conversation and laughs. A good time was had by all. Today, we have two shows, then we finish the run tomorrow, strike the set and go home.

Today is a work day.....oh well.

Last night's swing dance instruction cotillion went very well. Some of the participants were just interested in learning "tricks" which I don't teach unless they first learn some basics.....step touch is not the basis of "swing".....but there were some who did a very nice job.

The number of girls was greater than the number of boys, so we switched partners quite a bit....but it was fun. There were a lot of cameras there, so eventually a photo or two may show up.

Good morning, all! Another early morning of ROBERTA dreams and anxiety, and after too much of it, i decided it was time to get out of bed. Tomorrow we have Day One of recording, so today I will listen to the first edits a few times to get a few things into my head. I'll spend part of the day working on the liner notes as well.

Saturday morning greetings! It's a quiet weekend in ~~Lake Wobegon~~ Middletown because Fr. Richard is at a clergy meeting in Indiana. I'm about to settle down with my iPad to watch the skating exhibition from Sochi. Also have some AAUW work to do in preparation for Monday's board meeting.

Wacky? Spontaneous? I think not.
