Rehearsal two was really fun, then Jenna and her mom and I went to the Studio Cafe - I had some eggs and toast and a few drumettes.

Really enjoyed The Monument Men. The theater was really dead and they said it usually is on Thursday night.   That's our new movie night

Although Saturday is the Siouxland Film Festival.  It's all shorts.  I'm not on the committee anymore, but had planned to go.  It's not that big a deal  I may just sleep

I am planning to be here for the Oscars on Sunday.  Are they live or memorex?  Can we comment or do we have to not post spoilers.  Inquiring minds want to know

Glad to hear rehearsal was fun.  I would have ordered the same at the Cafe, only gluten-free. :D

Better go. I"m REALLY tired, it's been about 12 days in a row of overusing my brain. The movie helped, but I need sleep.

Sleep is a very good thing to do on snow days, IMHO. Unless, of course, you must shovel. In LA, we have no snow days. I miss them.

Jane, I had tingling in my feet and legs many years ago due to peripheral neuropathy. Most inconvenient on stairs. Is there a chance you're diabetic? Mine wasn't a blood sugar issue and went away.

I've found that hyaluronic acid is wonderful for arthritis. Life Extension (lef.org) has it in their Fast-Acting Joint Formula. I had relief in two days.

Thank you I will look into that  I need to be sure it does not interact with my thyroid meds ( I had a thyroidectomy  26  years ago)

Cilla,  I am sorry for the crazy  days  I know its tiring but i am glad your "scary slow" period is over - ours is not and I am getting  increasingly concerned

Please ask all your friends and relations to immediately buy real estate in NY --- and give them my number  :)

Yes, you need to check on that. One of the things I like about Life Extension is that anyone--member or not--can call and speak to a medical advisor free! I always prefer to talk to my own doc, but I've taken advantage of this service several times and found it quite helpful.

I would be happy to buy some NY real estate, but I know better to ask if there's anything affordable. Besides, I plan to stay here a bit longer.

I wonder how DR Ryacko is holding up. I think he's trying to stay as busy as BK.

Rob's job was the good news we received this week.  Here's the bad news, Richard's last uncle:

Judge George H. Palmer

My condolences to the entire Palmer family.

Topic of the Day:

Beauty That Drives a Man Mad [Some Like It Hot]
The Boy From... (not officially "Broadway," but lyrics by Sondheim...good enough for me ;))
Capped Teeth and Caesar Salad [Song & Dance and/or Tell Me On a Sunday]
The Grass is Always Greener [Applause]
Shy [Once Upon a Mattress]
That'll Show Him [Forum]
There's Always a Woman (cut from Anyone Can Whistle)

And many more.

I believe that The Grass is Always Greener is from WOMAN OF THE YEAR.
