Thanks, DR Vixmom (and DR Dan M) - it is still quite sore and I am still taking an over-the-counter remedy. Each day is a little better, I guess.
The doctor said not to be surprised if fragments of bone continue to push their way through over the next few months. (Ick!)

Hope you continue to recuperate from your own encounter with the dentist!

As far as singing tomorrow morning, I think it will be fine. I got through rehearsal Wednesday night, although I was quite sore by the end of the evening.

I had a similar experience with fragments when I had to have a tooth extracted. I don't think the technology for extractions has improved or changed from the days of the barber/dentist (before there was anything legitimately known as dentistry and barbers performed "dentistry").

The bone working it's way out reminds me of the glass in my arm after my car accident. The last little piece worked it's way out about 8 months after the accident

It's another attempt at marketing I fear. Probably someone thought it would be "hip" and maybe, just maybe, another Miley Cyrus moment could be at hand. But, just so it didn't look like such a crass attempt at getting the pre-teen and knuckle-dragger audiences, they didn't get Miley Cyrus, since P!nk is such a class act.

I am very fond of PInk. I have seen her interviewed on the "Ellen Show" and she is quite charming and articulate. I just wonder why a program that always runs overtime would want to pad their time with non-movie entertainers.
