I'm not the biggest Julia Roberts fan.  She's ok, but I don't get all the hype

GRAVITY is the only nominee we've seen, too, DR ChasSmith.  And we only saw that 'cause we were snowbound in Atlanta and our hotel had it on demand.

GRAVITY is the only nominated film that I've seen, also.

I love it when I see things like that.  The Dunfys on "Modern Family" have the exact same kitchen faucet that I have. ;D

I have just learned that my dear friend and mentor, producer Stanley Rubin died last night.  He was 96.

I would not have had the success I had in the industry were it not for his kindness and support.

If you're not familiar with his credits, they include THE NARROW MARGIN (original), RIVER OF NO RETURN, THE PRESIDENT'S ANALYST and WHITE HUNTER, BLACK HEART.

He also produced TV series like GENERAL ELECTRIC THEATER, THE GHOST AND MRS. MUIR, BRACKEN'S WORLD and the TV movie, BABE.

Druxy, my condolences on the loss of your friend. :(

Usually Jimmy K is somewhat funny, but that was a mean-spirited un-funny bit, doesn't make me want to watch the after-Oscars show

DR George did you retrieve the spaghetti from your car in time to save it?

Yes I did.  Shortly after I made the post last night, I went out to my car and put it in my fridge.  All is well.
