Folks, I hate to say this after looking forward to it, but I won't be with y'all this evening during the Oscars. I have a friend who has been through a rough couple of months for various reasons, and I'm going to watch the show with her because she just needs some company. Other friends have been taking turns doing things with her, going out to eat a meal, catching a movie, etc., and I'm free to spend a little time this evening just being there so that's what I'm going to do.
