I still think Gravity will not win Best Picture because it's winning too many earlier ones.  I've noticed that in recent years, in an effort to be "fair", the voters seem to split the difference so that all Best Picture nominees get "something".

I need to see Gravity. I flew back from Berlin on Friday (mixed and color-corrected our new film last week) and it was one of the offerings but I thought it would put me to sleep!

Thanks Ginny, but unfortunately, documentary editors don't get their own award, even though they kind of direct the film! I was really hoping AKA DOC POMUS would get nominated because it's the best work I've done, and such great story to be able to tell through the editing. (I edited the hell out of it!)

Okay, why they should NEVER let these people do this show again - if you have Liza, Lorna and Joey and you're asking them to stand, why would you show them for all of two seconds and never cut back to them again.  Are these people just completely inept?
