The publicity for the show made it sound like Judy's kids were going to actually participate in the tribute to The Wizard of Oz, not just sit in the audience.

Why couldn't they have had Liza sing it?  That would have been a poignant moment.

Lorna and Liza could've done a duet...THAT would've been a great moment.

I just don't like these singers today.  The little girl who did Over the Rainbow at last month's Kritzerland show was MUCH better.  And yes, Liza croaking it would have at least had a POINT.  That's what eludes these cocky producers - the POINT.

Is Bette singing for the Dead People segment?

There'll be more life in that segment.

So far, for me, the best part about the Oscar broadcast has been the Tina Fey AmEx commercials.

Here's the selfie they took in the audience  http://www.uproxx.com/webculture/2014/03/ellens-epic-oscars-selfie-belongs-in-a-museum/

This is probably my favorite picture of Bradley Cooper ever:

Lemme guess, the costume designer is the director's wife, so is she his sister-in-law?

it really reminds me of a high school production where the teacher in charge is "winging it"
