I'm going to finish watching the awards and hear Travolta instead of simply reading about it.

The news showed the clip of the idiot screwing up all morning. I've always thought he was a creep, and now i think he's a creepy moron.

I have to wonder how he didn't know her name since he is a fan of Broadway musicals.

I just read something so funny. There is a new game where you put in your name and they tell you how John Travolta would pronounce it.  This stems from him calling Idina Menzel by the name Adele Dazeem.

http://www.slate.com/articles/arts/low_concept/2014/03/john_travolta_called_idina_menzel_adele_dazeem_what_s_your_travolta_name.html

Just call me "Graeme Daveries."

The Travolta game is funny.  I wonder what Idina was thinking.

Whether he's a fan of broadway or not, he should have known who he was going to introduce

Scientology; he has to keep them happy and his hands from wandering.

Of course, but I still figured he would know who she is to begin with.

I wish I didn't know who Ms Menzel was! I cannot stand her voice.  I liked her in ENCHANTED; she didn't sing.

I loved her in Wicked and singing other songs.  I don't particularly care how she sang this one.

I'm reading a list of actors snubbed in the "In Memoriam" segment and am shocked Joan Fonatine was left out.  Is this true?  I'm also wondering why they included tv & commercial actors in the snubbed list.  The first name mentioned is Cory Monteith-was he even in a movie?

Joan Fontaine was there.

Michael Ansara and Jonathan Winters were not.

Ansara I understand as I don't think he was in any films, not that I am against including him.  Supposedly that don't include tv "only" actors.  Of course if they stuck to that rule Michael Jackson would not have been included the year he died.

Though he is certainly best remembered for his TV appearances, Michael was also in many movies (e.g. JULIUS CAESAR, THE ROBE,THE COMANCHEROS,THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, THE MESSAGE, etc.)

Re: Snubs in the "In Memoriam" segment

It just dawned on me.  It's like putting 2+2 together.  Jean Stapleton really wasn't snubbed at all.  Pink sang like Edith Bunker!

Pizza guy got $1000 tip on Ellen.   He had no idea he was going to be going onstage.  Here's the interview  http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=855258

Ellen collected $600 in the hat and gave him another $400 from her own pocket.   His interview is cute.

A wonderfully wonderful Kritzerland show this evening. I had way too much fun, and our cast was simply sublime - Josh Grisetti, Jean Louisa Kelly, Ashley Fox Linton, Jenna Lea Rosen, Sami Staitman and our guest star Terri White. The latter tore the roof off the joint, but everyone was just stellar as was our musical director, Richard Berent. I even brought co-producer Adyran Russ onstage for the sing-a-long at the end. Completely sold out and so many fun people in attendance, including Barry Pearl, Michael Kerker, Les Traub, Sarah Louise Lazarus and Michael Lavine, the beautiful Shannon Warne, Tom Hatten and his ever lovin' Pete Menefee, adorable Hadley Belle Miller, and so many others.

Another dinner party a success!  Beef Short ribs in the slow cooker, roasted root vegetables (potato, white sweet potato, parsnips, and carrots) and gilled asparagus. Not to mention the secret Mattei dessert!

I opened a bottle of red wine.  No one wanted any, yet, it's almost gone.  That must have been my doing. Oy and vey
