Good afternoon, all!

I'm a little late to the party today, as it was my first day off from a heap of things in the couple of weeks since I left the Arctic.

BK, thank you for the kind words and especially for the wonderful music to sing last night. For those who may have missed the details, BK did a brilliant put-together of "Hey, There" from Pajama Game and "Not a Day Goes By" from Merrily We Roll Along, and I got to sing it. And singing "Pretty Women" from Sweeney is a banquet in itself for me.

Funny thing is, I awoke hearing Jenna's "Glamorous Life" in my head all morning. Such a great show it was, with so many wonderful performances.

The review made me chuckle. "his warm voice and his causal attire" - I wonder what my attire caused?

That Player's Directory above was my first, I think - Alex Brewis was my first agent (those who've read my book know all this). And the other Kimmel gave up acting early on and became a sitcom writer.

I've been lazy and not lazy. I had to deal with some publisher stuff this morning, which took a while - the book goes to the production department by Friday or at least that's the hope. The content department is vetting it now to make sure there's nothing in it that could cause problems. You would think they wouldn't even bother given the book takes place in 1880 and is fiction, but what do I know? I can't imagine they'll come back with anything, but after last year's hilarity with them telling me The Music Man was a trademarked title (it wasn't - they found some clothing company called The Music Man that had a trademark - nothing to do with my book or its plot - they ultimately apologized and cleared the use but by then I'd come up with the alternate title and liked it better - nothing would surprise me. Of course, if they do find something they will get the full dose of BK at his most lethal. Let's hope for their sake they have some brains.

I also picked up some packages and I finished the liner notes and got them on their merry way. Since then, I've just been relaxing and I've watched one and a half motion pictures and will finish the other half after I get home from the casting session at eight.

Bruce, at least their error turned out to be a good thing. I can't imagine what issues they might have with this book but I suppose they have to be careful.

Drumroll, please!

I can now tell you that our son Rob will be a paramedic for the Butler County Inmate Medical Unit. He will have a lot of direct patient care, which will be great experience for his ultimate goal of becoming a physician assistant.
