THE OUTAGE OUTRAGE

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had no outages and therefore no outrages, and now it is time for you to post until the outrageous cows come home.

TOD:

From the notes themselves, "stroganoff" is indeed a favorite word to think of and say!

Good morning, all! I slept sporadically last night. I'd sleep for a bit, wake for a while, doze off, wake up, doze off, etc.  It was most peculiar. The only dream I vaguely recall was about working on a porn film (not IN a porn film). Everyone was staying in this mansion owned by a wealthy glamorous couple, who were shadowy figures - perhaps the producers - and I was looking at large bound collections of Playboy ephemera and photography is this huge library that needed organizing. And occasionally a naked actor or actress would wander by and say hello.

I must take a walk very shortly to the post office in search of last week's package, and yesterday's; the manager responded to my email to the postal service yesterday, so I wat to take my mangled magazine and discuss the current postal brouhaha.

And that leads to the TOD:
peregrination
brouhaha
hurlyburly
sporadic
megillah
plethora

Welcome back, Sam and TCB. The Little Women gig sounds like it could be fun. It is the recent musical or a different version?

There's an old man in LITTLE WOMEN?  The only old character I recall is Aunt March! DR TCB, did you refuse to shave?

Good morning, all.

A lovely 54-degree day here today, to be followed by one with a lot of rain, then one with a return of an arctic blast and perhaps a little bit of snow.  And so it goes.  Oh yes, it goes.

The trailer for a new suspense film set in the world of classical music, starring Elijah Wood as a reclusive concert pianist:

Looks OK, I guess, but my quibble is the assumption that only playing all the right notes equals a "perfect" performance.

I forgot to chime in on yesterday's Netflix discussion.

I use both of Netflix's services. I use the streaming more often, however, as it has so many films that are not available on DVD....for instance, many old B films from Republic studios and United Artists.
