It's another day in which the universe is conspiring to prevent me from getting work done. Ah well. I'm just glad I'm along for the ride.

If "involvees" is a good coinage for a word, how about "uninvolvees" as in: "All the uninvolvees walked by without a second glance."

As for "involvees" being a good word...well....

Mayhaps it is and mayhaps it ain't.

No mayhaps about it.

Nope.  All the mayhaps are out in the pasture with the HHW cows.

Speaking of mayhaps...

How many naugas do you think it took to make this chair?      8)

Congrats on the great review, bk! I am wondering, though, how that reader bought a copy of the book on Barnes & Noble when you've just placed the book order? In any case, this bodes well.

It's the nature of print on demand.  The minute the book was approved it went live at the Author House site and a day or so later elsewhere.  It's been available at amazon and barnesandnoble for almost a week now - in fact, I bought a copy (I always do) of the hardcover from amazon - it arrived yesterday.  Had I known barnes and noble was shipping faster, I would have ordered from there last Thursday or so and had it even earlier.

I'm up - barely.  Must go pick up the limited edition thing at Staples in about ten minutes.

I've sent the E&T Rodzinski a FB greeting and an e-card. If he wants me to wish him a happy birthday here, he can come back.

I may have spoken too soon. I fear there may be a problem with the formatting of the Kindle edition as it now stands. I can download the book, but when I try (repeatedly) to open the book, my whole Kindle freezes.     :P

I have been playing with my new tablet.....but I didn't receive my wireless router yet....so not much I can do.  Although I did get the time/date set.

It's a pretty nifty thing....certainly it is NOT an IPAD, but for $56, it will serve my purpose.

TOD:

Well.....I pretty much do what I want to do....and NEVER pass up an opportunity to do something new.....

I would say - I would like the opportunity to do another play in Indy....we shall see if that presents itself.

I don't know, DR Jrand63. But it sure tastes good in a sugar cone!

DR Jane I am dying to know how you liked the firs book.

From the very beginning I found it entertaining and engrossing.  I enjoyed it very much.  I wish I could time when I read my books.  This would have been a perfect one for a long flight.  I rate my books differently than you do as I don't find this great literature, but then most books aren't ;)  Meaning I gave it 4 stars vs your 5.

I am kicking myself though.....when I put holds on the first 2 books my library didn't have the 3rd book and I didn't remember until today to put a hold on it.  I'm sure the movie increased the number of holds.  I am 395 out of 397 on the waiting list with 25 copies.  It does say it might move faster at my library.

At the half, the University of Dayton leads Ohio State by 3 and I'm still trying to figure out how a game between 2 Ohio teams that's being played in Buffalo, NY, is a South Region match-up.

Hmmm . . . just got a bit of work on Encores' IRMA LA DOUCE. I may actually make some money this year and that's really a good thing after last year's financial plunge.

I was deciding if I should wait for the Nook edition or attempt to use my new Kindle app.  I think I will wait.

Just yesterday I mentioned a few cities I might enjoy living in, unfortunately LA is not one of them.
