I'm here now DR Vixmom.  I wish I was sleeping instead.  I blame it on DR Jennifer who said I should read Divergent even if she didn't say I should do so in one day and night ;)

Congrats on the great review, bk! I am wondering, though, how that reader bought a copy of the book on Barnes & Noble when you've just placed the book order? In any case, this bodes well.

Good morning, all! Last night, i slept poorly, so when the alarm rang at 7:15, I lounged and lazed until it was nearly 8:00. I'm now bathed, dressed and ready for the day. I've got physical therapy at 11:15 and no other plans.

DR vixmom, how are you feeling today? I hope your heart is okay. Have you had it checked?

I've sent the E&T Rodzinski a FB greeting and an e-card. If he wants me to wish him a happy birthday here, he can come back.

DR George yes the movie Divergent is based on a very popular book trilogy written by Veronica Roth. The books are YA dystopia. Check your library. I am sure they are hugely popular.  They explain a lot in the movie. So I think it will be easy for people to follow wo have not read the books.

Good morning, all.

Fell asleep on ye olde movie watching couch (while watching some ye olde movies) and didn't wake till 5:30 am, whereupon I had to figure out (1) where I was, then (2) why.  It sure was a deep, groggy sleep.  But I got me up and went up to bed and had a decent few more hours.  I know there was a huge dream in both places, but so far I can only bring back the latter part of the second one.  So, oh well.

Coffee!

Thursday morning greetings and Happy Spring!  I'll be home for the day for more puttering while I follow the first round of March Madness - Go, Blue!  I actually won't get to see the Michigan game tonight because I'll be at book group, but this afternoon I'll look in on Dayton/Ohio State, Harvard/Cincinnati, and Delaware/Michigan State.  I'm also going to make one of Richard's favorite dinners - chicken and rice - which he will enjoy after his 2 appointments today (nothing life-threatening).

It must be Spring, because the snow on the ground continues to thin out and recede.  Just like a good head of hair.

Good day and happy Thursday to one and all!  The latest Broadway Radio Show is now available on this fabulous website for your listening pleasure.  This time we pay tribute to Tony winning composer Mitch Leigh who just passed away on the 16th.  Of course, we will hear selections from his most famous show, Man of La Mancha, but we will also sample songs from 2 of his biggest flops, Cry For Us All (1970) and Ain't Broadway Grand (1993).  Enjoy!

So weird. There was supposed to be 10cms of snow last night. And there was just a few flurries.

Please snow melt.

Hmmm . . . just got a bit of work on Encores' IRMA LA DOUCE. I may actually make some money this year and that's really a good thing after last year's financial plunge.

Good morning, all.

Great news on the Irma work, Elmore. Love that score. You did the version of The Christmas Child for BK, right?

TOD:

A few trips I'd like to make: Buenos Aires, New Zealand, Peru.

I'm also hoping to have the chance to spend Christmas with my sister in Germany this year. I've never been there with her family at Christmas time. Now, if I could only learn some more German ...

No. Lanny did that. The original French lyrics to "The Christmas Child" begins as a parody of Il est né, le divin Enfant,
