I don't really yak on Facebook - I go there to drum up people for our shows and the signing - but this crap shows up on my newsfeed and I just have to respond. :)

But I'm glad you saw it because I meant to mention that gal who wrote me, to see if you knew her.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and head back downtown.  I'm working concessions for Olympia Family Theater's opening night performance of "Orphan Train."

Be back later!

I got caught in the rain today without an umbrella.  And it was pouring.

This never happens to me. I always see plenty of other people caught in the pouring rain. But I always bring my umbrella whenever it is supposed to rain.

Well I went to my niece's swim team practice. We got there at 4pm. And when we left at 6:45pm it was pouring. :(

Luckily we were parked fairly close to the door and we both had hoods. But still.

For anyone who doesn't remember, "Unforgettable" returns tonight for the second half of its season.
I really like this show. DR Jane do you still watch it?

We only watched the first episode.  I didn't even know it was still on.

I think you would like it. They switched things up this year.  This is the first episode of the 2nd half of the season.

Keith and I worked with her at the Bruin Theater.  I ran into recently on FB on another Hami co-worker's page.  I didn't recognize her name until they began talking about the Bruin.

Possibly but I doubt Keith will want to revisit it.  Maybe we can catch the summer re-runs.

I knew someone would come out of the woodwork and tell me that my signing date is a huge conflict with another event - probably should have left it on Passover, which would have finished at three and in plenty of time for people to get where they were going.  Too late now - April 12th?  The LA Times Festival of Books.  BRILLIANT!  Not that anyone who's coming to the signing would go to the LA Times Festival of Books, so it's not really going to impact me at all.

Started watching an old noir called Illegal with Edward G. Robinson, Jayne Mansfield, Hugh Marlowe, Ellen Corby and a very young DeForest Kelly. Fun Max Steiner score.

I would be reading a book if it was on my Nook.  The timing would be perfect as I have nothing to read at the moment.

I am sorry to have been E & T   I woke up yesterday with what I thought was a bad attack of allergies.  I made the   horrendous mistake of taking benadryl.

In other news  Red Gold came in the mail yesterday, with a lovely inscription and  with a sparkling  key chain  however if there was a magnet  I am afraid I never saw it and it was discarded with the packaging  :(

If you are sending out any more magnets , Bruce, you may want to put them inside the front cover  :)

I attended two concerts yesterday and heard some amazing newly composed vocal music. Had a chance to chat with some of the young up-and-coming composers afterward.

There is so much amazing music going on in the Twin Cities, and I have been attending an average of 2 to 3 concerts per week. When I lived near NYC I certainly had the opportunity to hear much great music, but getting in and out of the city was such a hassle that I didn't always take advantage of the opportunities. Here, you can be home in 10 minutes. Well - when it isn't snowing.     :)

I knew you'd love that about the twin cities

I was thrilled to wake up to snow.  This is the best kind of snow, heavy and wet.  It melts and sinks into the ground rather than running off if it was rain. We need moisture so badly Plus it was just plain beautiful

Have the beginnings of either a nasty cold and/or allergies, and haven't been feeling very good today. Did make a start on RED GOLD, however. I'm afraid I'm not as speedy a reader as DR Jrand63.
