I am very curious whiy the reviews on Barnes and Noble all say anonymous. On amazon you have to sign into your account to leave a review. I really enjoyed the first review (not sure who wrote it but i do not think anyone from here).

I forgot to reply to the TOD yesterday.....so here is my answer:

Jodi Arias a psychopath who killed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.  She was convicted about a year ago, but the jury could not decide on a sentence, so the penalty phase of her trial will be held later this year.

"All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."

Leo Tolstoy, "Anna Karenina"

I loved WAR AND PEACE, however, not so much "Anna Karenina".  This sounds good but in reality is a bit silly to me.

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

Jane Austen, "Pride and Prejudice"

This one I love :)

"Ships at a distance have every man's wish on board."

Zora Neale Hurston, "Their Eyes Were Watching God"

I read this and requested the book from the library.

TOD:

"IT WAS THE BEST OF TIMES, IT WAS THE WORST OF TIMES,".
"Tale of Two Cities",  Charles Dickens

I was wondering why it took so long for someone to say this.  I believe it is considered the best opening of any novel.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.

Oskar Werner read the opening of "David Copperfield" in "Fahrenheit 451" while I was ushering the film.

Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show.

I went from work to the bookstore as I could not wait to know how this novel ended.
