TOD - The opening of THE GLASS CASTLE by Jeannette Walls grabbed my attention and I could not put the book down:

I, on the other hand, am up.  Finally.  Guess I needed another eleven hours of sleep.  I am now way behind on my day and if I'm to eat must do so in the next half hour.

Except, in this case - a little bug-a-boo of mine. It drives me crazy whenever "man and wife" is used.


It should either be "man and woman" or "husband and wife."
