Back from a very good clean-up rehearsal with Kay Cole and our company.  Prior to that I wrote two count them two sets of liner notes.

I was trying to buy the Li'l Abner poster - one of my grails - but some total cretin idiot paid over $3,000 for it.

A few years ago, my sister's boyfriend sold an original Bob Dylan poster from 1966 for $3,000.  A few years before that, the guy bought a poster of the Buddy Holly concert that was supposed to have happened but didn't because Buddy died.  The guy paid $10,000 for it!  There are people like that out there.  More power to 'em, but it ain't me.

So, I was just watching Orson Welles' last interview - he died a couple of hours after doing it - on the Merv Griffin show in the mid-80s.  It was posted on You Tube and the company that posted it now owns the rights to all the Griffin shows from beginning to end.  So, I went to their website and wrote them an e-mail, asking if it were possible to get my segment of the show that I did in 71 or 72.  A long shot, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask.

That would be cool!  I would hate to think that they would refuse an actual interviewee.  Good luck, BK.
