I am home from therapy and a few errands. On the way put, I saw the super who said he'd be up after noon.  Well, no sign of him yet.

My goodness, where in tarnation IS everyone?  Is Jane on some vacation again?  Laura is out building up her muscles?  KevinH is busy writing an amazon review?  Jeanne is tooling around in her new car?  Or have they all gone out and bought some lug nuts.

Congrats to DR JEANNE on her new car.

We had an AUDI many decades ago, and for some reason the battery was not under the hood.  It was under the back seat.

And here's a picture of our theatre/shop/rehearsal center with the new roof.

It's lovely, Jrand!

I am back from several hours of cashiering at the AAUW garage sale.  My bentwood rocker sold for full price - $40 - to a young husband who said he and his wife will enjoy it on their front porch.  There's still a LOT of stuff and we'd already passed the halfway mark to our projected income.  We're open 8-4 again tomorrow, with the half-price sale starting at noon.

Friday the 13th AND a full moon.

Pray for Rosemary's Baby.  It's a happening day and things will happen.....combine that with the Mercury/Neptune retrograde and it's as if everything was in the Spin Cycle!

Have fun, but be careful out there.

Glad I'm retired - things are gonna be really weird in the public library!

Houston, we have a problem: no sign of the super and no repair.  I have no idea where he is so I can't even yell at him, but I'm sure that I will encounter him before the weekend is over, and it will not be pleasant.

Thanks for posting this! I was on that tour with Liz Larsen and Fyvush Finkel and the girls mentioned in this quote:

"Several groups of women who’d played sisters had plans to catch up over dinner the next night, and Lori Ada Jaroslow and Donalyn Petrucci Shreve hoped to see Liz Larsen, their sib from the 1981 revival, in her current role in “Beautiful.”"

Friday media report:  during my basement walks I'm listening to THE BOOK THIEF, read by Allan Corduner.  It's an mp3 audiobook that I borrowed from my former employer and downloaded directly to my iPhone.

DVD - from Netflix we have some CSI episodes and a movie called RED EYE.

So, DR Ryacko, what stories about the tour do you have to share? About three years later was when I discovered Liz, who did a few shows at the Cohoes Music Hall. Great performer.

DR Elmore, that really sucks.  I'd also imagine it's difficult, with the new super being the son (if I'm remembering correctly?) of the couple you loved so much and had a great rapport with.  But he really needs to shape up.  Or somebody does, at the management company.  Vibes for a really fast resolution.  Late, but fast.

TOD:

Yes, I could sure use me some TOD.  Let's see...

Blu-ray:
ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS (I'll at least start watching it tonight)
RED RIVER (same)
THE MECHANIC (I think I'm most interested in seeing this one straight through tonight)

What else?  Got so much music (CDs and LPs) to ketchup on, I can't even begin to name them.

Audiobook and DVD:
HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY -- I love this and revisit it every few years.  Listened to the book on my last car trip, and am halfway through the BBC production.

...if she comes back this morning

~ ~ ~ VIBES ~ ~ ~ for just this outcome, DR Ron Pulliam!

She's up and running...taking charge and control of the desk and its functions.  I am moved back into my cubicle on the 6th floor.

Life is, suddenly, very good again.
