THE LUG NUT

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Herman J. Lug and his invention the Lug nut, and now it is time for you to post until the nutty cows come home.

Over the winter here there has been a series of car wheel thefts - the kind where you come out in the morning to find your car up on blocks, with all the wheels missing.
The local police are recommending installing locking lug nuts. Apparently it inspires said thieves to move along to someone else's vehicle.

There is a movie (or perhaps it was a tv episode) where the go on for a few minutes about lug nuts. They use a southern accent and it sounded funny. BUT I cannot remember anything more about it or its title.

Then there was this horror film where Kevin Spacey who was forty something trying to play a 20-30 something Bobby Darrin. Which was just as bad when Diana Ross who 34 trying to play a teenage Dorothy in The Wiz.

Friday morning greetings!  The garage sale opens in about half an hour and I suspect there are folks lined up in Rose's driveway already.  I'll go over about 11:30.

Good morning, all! Well, the super was not here yesterday, so I hope that when I return from physical therapy he is working on the ceiling. Otherwise, I will call the management and ask them to send someone to finish it.

Beyond that, I have very few plans. I expect at some point to hear from the Library of Congress about the McGlinnventory sitting at Toyland and when they would like to accomplish the move. I've got to spend some time ver the weekend finishing up the JUBILEE score so I can consider that completed before I pack up and move out.

DR Jeanne has a new car! Fantastic.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good Weekend & Travel Vibes for everyone! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Awake till all hours last night.  Got into bed, turned the TV on to lull me to sleep, TCM was showing GIANT, and I got through nearly all of it before finally dropping off.  I shall require a LI'L nap at some point today.
