JRand, does anyone know what the "extra ingredients" were?

Here's one of my favorites, but I really liked the radio version more:

I think FJL posted my favorite commercial in the past.

TOD:

Almost nothing makes me as happy as an old Mentos commercial! I have always loved the positive attitude they portray and they just makes me smile! I try to live my life like one of these commercials.

Here is one of my favorites:

Thanks all for the good wishes. I worked with Susan for many years, and she was a total delight. I sang at her wedding. I have not seen her for some years, as she and her husband moved to North Carolina. She leaves behind two young children, which is very sad. But she is no longer suffering.

On a lighter note, here is one of my TOD favorites - the old ubiquitous Milford Plaza commercial:

MBarnum: I retook the sleep test last weekend for the about the same reason you referred to yesterday. I learned a couple of tricks that have helped somewhat, but I'm still waiting to hear from the doctor about the rest.

When I took the home sleep test (not terribly accurate, but the darned insurance company wouldn't pay for a lab test), it determined that my body was waking itself up 15+ times per hour, which is on the less severe side of the scale. With the CPAP machine, that number has been reduced to less than 2.

I did not use the machine last night, as the suction would interfere with the healing of the toothless socket. And boy, can I tell the difference today!      :P

DR JohnG, I meant to ask if you are currently using a mask or the nasal pillows. I was thinking in one of your recent posts you mentioned about possible switching to the nasal pillows.

Anyway, any tricks you have learned, please pass them on!!

Ya, DR Singdaw, I refuse not to use my CPAP machine. Waking up constantly and the resulting headache, nausea, and tiredness...no thanks!

I also am down to waking only about 1.5 to 2 times an hour.

I do wish our DR Aunty Jane would go and have the sleep test done. If nothing else, at least to elminate one possibility. And on the other hand, it could be a life saver!

TOD:

On the DVR I have a 1950s British thriller starring Dane Clark and Belinda Lee. Don't remember the name. And also a creaky 1930s film with 13th in the title...that is all I recall. Both should be fun, however!

PS: I always forget what a good actor Dane Clark is. I really do like him.

I prefer the idea of doing the home test.  Insomnia runs in my family big time.

Hey, DR shufflepaw:  Fie for posting a photo of a magnificent stage under a magnificient proscenium arch and depriving all of us the knowledge of where it is.

It very much resembles the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, but the decoration on the arch is different.
