JRand, as you take over as the new manager of Hamburger Hamlet what will your new menu be like? The original everything-you-could-ever-want-in-a-burger or more nouveau?

Will Jane (and I) be able to order a decent veggie sandwich?

I would still eat the garlic bread with it and maybe have a chocolate milk shake, best I don't eat there.

That was not TCB's Nicky, though.

I think DR TCB's Nicky certainly deserves a feature film.

Was the bridge photoshopped or done with lighting?

DR Jane -

The bridge in the photo is actually a model made out of sandwich loaf.      :)

The bridge will be lit as in the photo with actual lights tonight and tomorrow night.

I checked out the kindle sale.  Most of the books I would have wanted I already read.  I was tempted to purchase "I Know This Much is True" by Wally Lamb because it is close to 900 pages.  Since my library has it I put a hold on it & will hope for the best.

Looking at the book I downloaded on the Kindle App it isn't doesn't look as good as a B & N book or even from my library.  I'll see when I finally get around to reading the book I purchased.  For now the library books keep coming in at a rather fast rate.

TOD

Funny I was just talking to the Vixter about this  on Thursday...  there used to be chain of restaurants in the 1970's  called La Crepe  or Le Crepe.... they had about 100 items on the menu  savory to sweet

They had a marvelous  Seafood Newburg crepe and one that had tender beef and sauteed mushrooms and onions in a sherry sauce  and of course  crepe  Suzette

Patricia Routledge did appear in a TV (?)  version of the production as it appeared in Central Park (not to be confused with the full-blown movie version where Angela Lansbury performed the role).

It's a videotape of the production in Central Park, DR FJL.

I am home from Arlo's rehearsal. I think his show at 54 Below will be a lot of fun.
