Where did you hear about Don Matheson?  I just did a Google web search (also Variety and Hollywood Reporter) and could find no mention of this.

My favorite just might be the sound of the tennis ball during the game.

Due to actors who mumbled and music that is blasted louder than voices, Keith often turns on the captions.  He then often leaves them on for me with my declining hearing.  Often the captions are a few beats behind the voices-very annoying.  Silly are all the little background sounds that you can't hear anyway, even with excellent hearing.

I wish there was a words only caption for folks like me that can hear everything but the words.

Good morning. It was mighty warm out on the trail this morning. Around 90F at 5 a.m.

I only reached about 99F yesterday.

This morning I left Keith dealing with the asphalt folks, who put a fresh layer on our driveway, while I went into the nice cool mountains with my hiking group.

Hopefully a completely stress-free July ahead - that will be very pleasant.  Then we just need to make the rest of the year stress free

A lot of DVDs and Blu-rays now have two different English subtitles:  one for just the English language which only subtitles the script for foreign language speakers, and another that's English for the Hard of Hearing, which includes subtitles for the sounds.

I enjoy Almost Royal a lot.....reminds me of THE COMEBACK in a way in that the main characters seem to be interacting with real people who are not quite sure what to make of them....

And Poppy and Georgie are completely unaware of themselves.....

We have pretty much quit for today.  Richard had prepped the wall we're painting tomorrow and I've put the curtain rod back up over the window that was painted today.  Before bedtime I'll put the old curtains up until the new ones arrive next week.

There's a homemade chicken pie in the oven for dinner and it smells good!

(That's the title of my upcoming hilarious sitcom based on a real life apartment building in Manhattan.)

One of our loonier tenants moved, and there's been a crew renovating the apartment, carting new appliances in and carting the old out on the only elevator in this building.  I suspect they've been the cause of the damage, but i'd think the repairmen would have been here by now so the blasted renovations can continue. That apartment will probably go for $1800/month, if not more, and I cannot imagine the landlord doesnr' want that $20,000 a year!

$1,800.00 a month?  How much just for the fire escape?

I took a short break to go to the bank to add my signature and the new treasurer's to the AAUW account and to pick up Scotch for Mom.  Richard's about finished with the second coat on the walls, so I'll have lunch and get back to work on the trim.

Who is going to take the scotch to your mother??
