Good morning, all! I slept late.
I've got to begin the laundry. I just turned over my mattress, since that hasn't happened since I bought it ten months ago, and I'll start the laundry within the next 15 minutes.
I have few plans for today. I may listen to DEAREST ENEMY, MUSIC MAN, or TAKE ME ALONG for the fourth, and I'll tidy up. I'm meeting Bruce Pomahac at 5:00, so I'll leave here around 4.
TOD:
Anne Caldwell, one of the best; I like her lyrics for Victor Herbert and Jerome Kern very much. especially "Raggedy Ann," "Once In A Blue Moon," and "Bagdad"; many of her lyrics were credited to her alcoholic husband James O'Dea.
Dorothy Donnelly, Rida Johnson had moments for Victor Herbert and Sigmund Romberg, but the quality runs from excellent to really lousy
