Well, you've read the notes, the notes stumbled-through, and now it is time for you to post until the stumbling cows come home.

I think I would like to see a Dick van Dyke show.  With Dick van Dyke.      :)

Last night there were many fireworks, both professional and amateur.  Some of them extremely close.

The DD was a complete basket case.      :P

Apparently I forgot to log out last night.

I could't get the HHW pages to refresh properly without hanging, so I gave up and went to bed.

Good morning, all.

First day of Autumn!

No, that's not right.  But it is indeed only 60 degrees at present, and feels like that, even if it is warming to 80 degrees today.

We had explosions until about 1 a.m. this morning.  There were some things I couldn't identify....but after reading DR JOHN G's posts from last night....I am thinking they were Chinese Lanterns.

TOD:

A one-person show about Cole Porter starring anybody but Kevin Kline. Maybe Gavin Creel could play the part.

Air conditioning vibes for ChasSmith.

We had our own air conditioning last night. It rained. Dropped the temperature into the low 70s. I don't think it'll be that nice today, but we can hope. (It also stopped just in time for the fireworks.)

Good morning.

Today would have been my mother's 95th birthday. At my church, celebrating 90th birthdays is a big thing, since most people don't make it to 100.

My mother didn't make it to 90. She passed away at 84. But I held a celebration on her 90th, anyway.

Her 90th birthday was on a Sunday. I placed pink flowers on the worship table. After the morning prayer was concluded, our pianist accompanied me on "His Eye is on the Sparrow," her favorite hymn. Our wonderful Elmore wrote a very beautiful special arrangement just for this occasion.  Thank you again, Elmore.

George -- and any other Stephen Flaherty fans out there -- have you heard of this show, In Your Arms? I'd love to see it. The cast sounds great. And the video was intriguing.

Good morning again.

AC is fixed, a couple of little thingies were added to prevent what was happening from happening again, and all is well.  The only thing that won't be well will be the labor charges, since they were here for an hour and fifty minutes.  But, you know.... oh well.

TOD:

I would like to see Kevin Kline do my one-person play on Errol Flynn.

Unfortunately, he's got a movie coming out soon (THE LAST OF ROBIN HOOD) in which he plays Flynn, so I think he's done with the role.

BK,

Did you meet James Karen's wife, Alba, at the party?

She was co-producer on my film, CHEYENNE WARRIOR.

She also directed the 2nd Unit.
