It had nothing to do with being healthy or with my personal choice.  It was just an observation.

My point is, I eat tons more broccoli than I eat pasta  ;)

Today, Washington State is the center of the drug universe!

I have not been keeping up on what's going on, so...what's changing??

Mostly, I wanted to thank you, BK, first, for the wonderful show last evening, and for that luscious material from Time and Again that suits so well what I do best. And secondly, thank you for the lovely words you posted about my work last night. It was a true joy to be a part of last evening's stellar Kritzerland show.

Awwww.  I wish I could have seen you.

Where is the dog on the "my side"?  That was about all the room Sherlock gave me and most of my Bernese Mt. Dog friends on facebook have posted photos of them with their dogs, and the dogs are all on the "my side".

The editor of the local paper just complimented me on the proper use of my semi-colon in the STEEL MAGNOLIAS story that I sent him.

So, right after I wrote the post about Mike Connors, he looked over at me and smiled and said hello.  I leaned over and told him the story I've wanted to tell him since it happened - it's in There's Mel - that as a young actor doing his very first TV guest shot, I'd walked on the Paramount lot and the first person I saw was him and that he'd waved and smiled at me and how that made me feel I was really a part of the profession.  He seemed pleased to hear it.
\

Hmm.  Maybe Mr.Connors is one of our "guests" and read what you wrote about him!

So I'm home from therapy.  While i was working with Morgan, my walking guru, I got all upset today and ended up weeping over my current depression.  How humiliating. When I left, I was the first person, not her co-workers, she had told today that she is 3 months pregnant.  She said she hoped her happiness would cheer me up.  She's a wonderful lady. I am happy for her and her husband.

That is sweet she shared her happy news with you.

Next up, the plumber, who finally returned Richard's call.  Seems she fell out of a car that was going 55 mph and is recovering from several broken bones.  Assuming she feels OK, she's coming Friday to scope out what we need done upstairs.

My goodness.  How does one fall out of a speeding car ???

Nice story, BK, and very nice that you got to share it with Mike Connors.

I second that :)

DR JohnG, I don't have anything currently on Ebay. My last auctions ended a couple of days ago. But when I do have things for sale, you will find them under ebay ID: MBarnum.

Bid high and bid often!

I wonder how long ago she fall out of the car?

Or even HOW one could fall out of a car?         :P

Apparently the door wasn't closed tightly and she wasn't wearing a seatbelt.  She told Richard the accident was about a month ago.

No seat belt, brilliant.  I bet she will always wear one from now on.

Is anyone familiar with Zabar's in NY?

Only as a line in the song "West End Avenue" by Stephen Schwartz in The Magic Show:

Delis and laundromats and gay bars
West End Avenue
Only a block away from Zabar's....

If you have a ton of money, sure.  But with what you see below costing $119, I certainly wouldn't!

But that's just me. ;)
