Love Wae-Ling's quote about the table, Laura.

She is very wise.

And I am home, and there is still no television service. WTF?

DR JRand63, the Dream-O-Matic 6000 has got me really confused over this current reading! Thank you, though.

I should have gone to the NYPL but I did not plan my day well at all. Dammit.

DR TCB, I am almost always proud of you.

Speaking of Der Brucer, has anyone heard anything?

There's nothing in my DVD player at the moment, as I wait for the next Netflix disc, but now I'm thinking I should watch some movies starring Harrison Fjord.   :D

I thought I had pre-ordered DR John G.'s book - but I hadn't.  So that is now remedied.

You'll find all that barbecue helpful on your vegan diet. But I thank you.

Yes, a happy haineshisway.com to former dear reader der Brucer.  He and his ever-lovin' S. Woody White were here at the beginning.

Contrary to popular belief, Scandanavia is not the only place to see fjords.  Of course, as BK noted, there is your local Fjord dealer.  But you can also see fjords in Chile, which I saw when I cruised around Cape Horn and up the western coast of Chile.

Afternoon, all!

Wow: DerBrucer & SWoodyWhite... that takes me back a ways... hope that they're doing well.

TOD:
Ye Olde iPod: multiple cast recordings of Cabaret (including the quite good Tel Aviv cast... "If You Could See Her" in Hebrew is pretty surreal, though), the late D. Jay Bradley's "Cocktail Hour in Manhattan"
Youtube playlist:  a whole slew of chess videos from a St. Louis club
On the reading list: A bunch of old-school sci-fi stuff (Heinlen, Niven, Octavia Butler)

My boss found out today he's allergic to beef as well as mesquite, live oak and pecan, which are the woods we use to smoke beef. I think he's saying he's allergic to Texas.
