OPENMEAL

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of openmeal, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently eating the dreaded steel cut openmeal.

I have had this tune running through my brain for the past couple of days. I knew it was the theme song for a television show, but just couldn't place it.

Then, a minute ago, it finally came to me.

I guess I don't know much about the process of producing oatmeal. I mean, why can't they cut it with plastic, or teflon, or copper? Why is steel so special?

Today may finally be the day that we assemble a 5-drawer dresser from IKEA.

I am sure that yelling hilarity will ensue.       :)

Does anyone still wear an allen wrench?

And why is it named after Allen, and not Rupert or Sanford?

Good morning, all! Around 2:00am i woke up and it took me forever to get back to sleep. Before the alarm rang at 6:45, my last dream took place in Oxford, OH.around 1970. but everyone in the dream was a friend from New York from 2014. It had something to do with my friend Sara Jean Ford wanting to attend a musical theatre conference over two days. The conference took place in the Miami University Theatre green room, and Rob Berman and Greg Jarrett, who played piano for our NYC ROBERTA rehearsals, were on the panel.

I will shortly head down to Toyland. I will begin scanning JUBILEE Act Two again and hopefully do it right this morning.  I believe our DR ChasSmith is coming in to visit, and I look forward to that.

Thank you to DRs ChasSmith and Vixmom for the comments about the painting.  As for generosity, DR Vixmom, most of the works in the exhibit are owned by the Middletown Historical Society and MidPointe (Middletown Public) Library.  The next most "generous" is a farmer from nearby Germantown, OH, whose name was on at least 20 of the pieces.  He was at the reception, as was the nephew of the artist.
