This morning we had breakfast at the local H &W then over to the hospital to visit with Vixgrandad.

Drove to Sexsmith where Vixdad sat in the truck and read while. The Vixter and I walked around and took a few pictures

Then back to the hospital

The local tourism board was running a free barbecue for visitors tonight so we stopped there a grabbed a meal. They served hamburgers sans fried egg and hotdogs (like wide egg free). Macaroni and potato salad and a nice lemonade

I have never had a fried egg on either a hamburger nor a pizza and I find it highly unlikely that I ever will

To me a burger should have cheese, Swiss, cheddar or muenster ,preferably. It should be served on a toasted bun. Sautéed mushrooms and onions and a liberal swipe of mayo is a nice finish

Or you can hold the onion and substitute brown gravy for the mayo

Or you can hold the mushrooms, add raw red onion or a nice slice of a valdalia onion and a little ketchup...preferably Heinz

Hotdogs, on the other hand, must wear mustard. Preferably a spicy brown mustard, and a liberal amount of hot sauerkraut as an extra bit of deliciousness you should sauté the sauerkraut with caraway seed with some bacon before putting it on your frank

Had a good little session for the birthday thing. The host wanted to introduce one song, so I told him to do so so I could hear it. He then told a ten-minute story of little point. I have hopefully dissuaded him from doing it.

Then I had a foot rub, then I went to Barney's Beanery where I had a tiny thing of mac-and-cheese for my evening snack. Our Appassionata Von Climax, Riley Dandy, is working there.

I'm watching a new show on BBC America (recorded on my DVR from Saturday) called "Intruders." It stars John Simm and it's quite mysterious. According to the IMDb plot: "A TV series centered around a secret society devoted to chasing immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others."
