I need to go outside and pick up acorns and leaves.  I'm heading out a bit late and doubt I will do much work.

Here's a local arts story that broke this morning.  It may be of interest to DRs Elmore, ChasSmith, Charles Pogue, John G, and anyone else interested in the Cincinnati arts scene:

Corbett Foundation to Close Its Doors

Thank you for the heads up on that, DR Ginny.

A HUGE name around the Cincinnati area.  Incredible.

I forgot I twisted my leg hiking this morning.  I was reminded as soon as I bent down to pick up the acorns.  I didn't stay out there long-lol  Fortunately there weren't many to pick up.  I could have picked up leaves forever.

The squirrels can't bury that many acorns, thank goodness.  Keith has to pull hundred of little acorn trees in the spring.

Good morning, all.

I need some work vibes to finish a project I've taken too long on.

Work vibes to DR John who has been goofing off!

Dinner tonight was prepared by Chef Hamlet from Venezuela, who apparently has a PBS cooking show. After all, the meal was a fundraiser for the local PBS station.

There were some wonderful dishes including a white bean soup with bacon on top and a kale-quinoa salad with a nuts and fruits in it.

But the highlight of the evening was that I won a painting in a silent auction. It was done by a local artist, Brother Cletus. I've bid on his works before but never won one.

Started watching Red 2. It's really a lot of fun. Wonder why I haven't seen it until now.
