THE WAY OF ALL FLESH
« on: August 29, 2014, 12:05:24 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes went the way of all flesh, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - apparently they've gone the way of all flesh and can't find their way home.

I have half a day at work and then a special treat. We will walk over to Toyland and visit Larry!

I wish Toyland looked as much fun as this, but it's almost as much fun because Larry is there.

We have a long weekend with few plans. We will just hang out and relax. The weather is supposed to be nice so, as they say, whatever happens, happens.

Good morning, all! I had a very peculiar dream in which my adopted son Joshie and I were stuck in a cabaret performance of Jacques Brel songs.  I was dragged into it by my former friends Ron and Dona, and Elly Stone and Mariah Carey were in the audience. I had no idea what I was doing there since I'd never rehearsed with the pianist,.  Beyond that, I slept well.

So, today I head down to Toyland to continue packing. DR ChasSmith is coming in to help, and DR Ben and Anthony coming to visit.  Tomorrow, our DR ChasSmith is generously driving into Manhattan to help me schlep as much as we can pack into his automobile up to my apartment. When I get home from Toyland today, I need to finish cleaning out the area that will hold all of the cartons.

More coffee!

Friday morning greetings!  This afternoon Rob and I will shop for Mom (Gram) to last her until I get back from France.  Rob's sleeping in, though, to recover from working 12+ hours yesterday at his second job with the private ambulance company where he began his paramedic career.

How nice that there will be a mini-HHW reunion today, right smack dab in the middle of Manhattan!

Good news, finally, DR elmore3003!

Both the banker and I are happy over today's news.  She was puzzled over its delay.

And greetings from Toyland!

Would you want an aquarium for your kitchen island?

Just for fun, here's a commercial that my Dad loved - he went around saying, "This place is a zoo!" all the time.

Good morning, all.

I wish we'd all be able to see JRand as Banjo, too.

Congratulations, Elmore, on finding a bank that eventually did right by you. May we all be so fortunate.

I hope I get the chance to read some this weekend. Knowing my luck lately, that won't be possible.
